What the **** does that have to with you posting pictures of a new Vette in the 2020 GT500 section. All these guys on this site are pretty broad minded except a few. It has shit to do with that section.
So you are speaking for everyone on this forum that they only like mustangs and no other cars? Do you read Motor Trend / Road and Track or just look for the Mustang reviews and toss the magazine? You have a picture of a Clown on your screen name does that mean you should be on a Circus forum? I love All the Clowns when I attend the Circus, Seem to be really smart and can balance on one Viper hood..I mean shoe, Oh and I owned a Viper 2

That render, while obviously off since the motor is not in the front, makes the GT and its pathetic little V6 look positively pedestrian.
Oh please. The new Vette is sharp, but it lacks the exotic look of an FGT. I can’t defend the motor part of your statement, because nobody asked for a V6. It performs very well, but sounds like a chainsaw powered blender.

Failure to follow simple instructions.

Let me break it down for you like a fifth grader since you like the circus.

You posted a Corvette thread in the GT500 section of the site. It’s the wrong location and everyone except you sees that.

It appears your thread has been moved to a more appropriate section and you’re calling out the moderator who most likely moved it.

I bet you’re almost feisty enough to post in SD.

Personally, I’d like to see you chum the water there before your vacation.

GM had to build the C8 to accommodate the masses. It had to be practical just as much as functional. The Ford GT is stunning in every way but you cant drive that car everyday. Some will argue that but its not practical. What GM has done is really impressive IMO. The car will be fast, it will handle well and its affordable for everyone.

We already know whats coming..... with the C7 Z06 well over 100k trimmed out and ZR1 135 plus, I expect the same price point plus 8-10k for the C8 versions.

I'm of the opinion that if you're going to have a large hood ( scoop, bump, dome, etc, ), it better be there for a reason other than cosmetics !!

I have always loved the Circus and back to the Corvette photo I really didn’t think it would be such a big deal. Other members have posted photo’s, New info, On this Corvette and other makes. Sorry for posting the photo in the wrong area! Chum must be the name of a water park when on vacation?

The performance of the base model is absolutely insane! I am very interested to see the performance of the Z06 & the ZR1. It will also be insane to see what these things are capable of once a few people start modding them!

Very interested in picking up a base model in the second hand market in roughly 5 years, I bet they will be the best bang for your buck on the road at that time.

Man, everyone has to be a hardass on the internet. Rules are not hard to follow.

New Vette is great. But, after all is said and done, all ADM's aside, it will be nearly double the price of a GT500 or very close to that.

Love the render, I think it has potential to be almost spot on.

This would have been better to be posted in Roadside since it is general chat. Vehicle specific forums are exactly that, vehicle specific.

So, this was in the new GT500 section why?

Still has shit to do with the new GT500.

Yeah, I’m a real simpleton. That was the wrong thing to post. Think about it for a few minutes.
Again, this thread you made in the GT500 section has jack shit to do with the new Ford.

Guess who wins?

You’d think a moderator especially the SD admin would know the SVTP rules.

Ford had Multimatic build them a super car for the celebs and famous.

GM built and brought a super car to the “masses”.

Mic dropped.
Considering the vast majority of new GT owners are neither famous or celebrities your conclusion is false.

What make a super car, is it only have to be mid engine? Porsche did that years ago!

Mic drop!

I'm saying the new Corvette is at the very least stepping into Super Car Status. Looks for the most part, performance and the engine location does not hurt its case. If you don't agree with that....it's ok.

Lets be real, it's been there in the upper trims for a long time.

This one just so happens to make it there with a relatively minor addition.

It's been a Sports Car for many years, not a supercar. I'll say 2020 it made it's SC debut. I wouldn't argue the C7 but C6 it was a Sports Car and at some point prior lost the Muscle Car aspect which is up for debate.

Opinion...of course.

In my eyes, the corvette has been a sport car up until the c8. With the mid engine configuration, performance and aggressive looks (whether liked or not), it now makes the list as a super car. The C7 was a weird bastard child of a sports car and super car. Not quite there but very close.
