People are definitely paying over msrp, I know two went for 50k over here at a local dealer. Makes 5 - 15k look like a deal, maybe even make you "feel" like you're getting invoice + hold back and some free extras.
Wow it is crazy to hear about people wanting to pay that much over.

I stopped into Koons Ford in VA today, had 6 or so 350s, 10+ Raptors. Every single one had + $10k adm. Dealer said they have 4 CFTP allocations coming their way. They didnt know how much over yet

That same dealer is discounting a 19 ZR1 white with a msrp of $139k, which I am sure they had well over when they first got it, to $127k! Seems like they hold onto specialty cars too long.

I have been following two GT350's at a local dealer. One is an R. The R had a $20k addendum, just got price alert yesterday, now only a $5k addendum. The non R GT350 went from a $5k addendum to $2k UNDER MSRP.

Not saying its because of the C8, BUT, the C8 will be a direct competitor for the GT350 and the C8 w/Z51 pkg will be going up against the GT350R IMO. If that's the reason for better pricing, then so be it. I for one LOVE the addendums dropping like rocks.

That probably has more to do with them being 2019s.

Local dealer has 7 2019 Raptors and showing 1 online at $2,000 under MSRP. Doesn't seem like Raptor's are really in short supply. Holy cow, there are 745 new Raptors within 500 miles of me on cars.com. I did see 3 to 4g's off quite a few of them, hard to imagine ADM's with that many out there.

Now that you can get the Raptor motor in the Limited, being in Houston, I'd rather have a limited... Much easier to drive around town.

I was going to quote him but he deleted all his shit.

The Shelby dorks will pay over MSRp
The people who want 4 seats will pay over MSRP
The people who hate Chevy will pay over msrp

There are literally tens of thousands of people who will buy the gt500 that wouldn't even consider a ****ing vette

Koons Ford is a joke. That dealership back in 2012 when I was looking for the 2013, refused to deal for anything less than 10k over for a 13 GT500. I ended up finding MSRP elsewhere. About 6 months after the cars were hitting the lots, they still had that car sitting on their lot, 10k over. You'd think they would learn.

They won't, end of the day they'll let it go for MSRP if they have too and won't loose a dime. In the meantime they can gloat about having one and wait to cash in on that lucky chump.

Maybe someone here is more up to speed on the dealership allocation process, but I gotta believe there would be a negative impact to the dealership for sitting on Ford Performance vehicles for too long. (loss of or reduced future allocations)

That said I saw '18 Raptors still sitting with a markup when '19's were rolling out, so I'm probably wrong and the dealers can do whatever they please.

But as someone else above mentioned, patience is a virtue especially when you're trying to purchase a Ford Performance vehicle!

Interesting! I didn't know that. I guess I haven't been on the Ford build site in a while. Going to check this out now. Thanks for the info.
