That big trunk space will make a great place for a pair of turbos.

Sweet cutaway pics.

I bet removing that trunk tub will be a very common mod for owners. It will free up some space for modding, aid in keeping things cooler back there, and save a little bit of weight.

Side note, a common exhaust theme for mid engine cars is simply removing the muffler and running straight pipes. I look forward to the first person to swap in a set of 180* LT headers, straight pipes, and a healthy cam. Should make for a audible show.

This car comes in at $60k and it makes me wonder why anybody would buy a speciality Mustang again.

Luckily, we don't all like the same things.

We live in such a fantastic time for cars, and have lots of great options to choose from.

My Z06 cost me 60 dollars a month full coverage, married and was in my early 30s when I had that car. I think they weigh a lot of factors, chief among them number of incidents in that car model. My 14 mustang gt still runs me about 115 a month and I’m 40 now, go ****ing figure. Cheap disposable S197 shitbox costing almost 2x a month vs my vette. The point is insurance companies don’t see the corvette or their owners as being a risky group to insure. Muscle cars like mustangs and camaros etc are seen as punk cars with a lot more incidents, risks.
My Terminator is insured through Grundy for less than $300 per year! But I get a classic car discount because the model year is over 15 years old. When I had it with AAA I was paying what you paid.

If more younger people get the C8 the accident rate will go up and then perhaps the insurance will go up accordingly.

I have classic on my 99 SS, 230 a year, but mileage restricted to 6K miles a year.

This is un****ingbelievable.

With gt500, Ford makes us crawl on the ground to get upside down cell phone pics only to be yelled at by some lackey for sneaking a pic.

Chevy cuts their ****ing car apart so any random Joe can see every single inch of every single panel.

Wake up Ford!!

I think it's a joke that "Ford, the everyman champ beats Elitist Ferrari", when the reality is "Ford, desperately tries to Out-" Ferrari" Ferrari"
