Yeah, the whole point of the Demon is lost on him. He's not about the Drag racing or classic Mopar roots, the insanity of OEM drag Radials, OEM Transback, the throw back to option lists and what not.
He bought it because it's a big deal and a status symbol.
Just like his Loboski Pinball machine for $12,500. It's not that it's fun and he gains joy from playing it, but he gains bragging rights to other pinball collectors and can show off how much he spent and that he has a rare item others covet.

Nailed it. He has it just to say he has 800hp and then every other auto because it does not have 800hp. Every Ford will fall short because he does not have one/they don’t have one performance figure above everyone(since the HC hit florrs).

On the highway, you're gonna get railed by just about anything with at least 600 crank HP. Remember that Demon that barely beat a stock C63 S and got dragged by a stock ZL1?? You just keep on asking for it. I'm guessing the Demon is your very first ever high HP car, and you think that HP number means it can automagically beat everything on the road. You're in for a rude awakening one of these days. Being that you're in the northeast, it's probably going to be at the hands of a clapped out, old F-body that has had the kitchen sink and the dirty dishwater thrown at it. Or an old sleeper E55.
