Thanks again everyone for all of the nice comments. Still kind of stunned that I stumbled upon this car. I’ve owned a few mustangs in the past, including a 66 fastback at one point, and this is by far the cleanest I’ve owned. Also the best looking one too in my opinion. And my wife is really happy it’s a vert.

keep it stock

toss some stock wheels on it

keep her safe and dont drive her she'll be worth ALOT more

Those are the stock wheels for the 10th Annv. Cars if I’m not mistaken, although I may change them out at some point. I’d like some wider tires in the rear eventually.
Buying a cheap daily driver in the next couple of days. Plan on taking good care of it, and going for a lot of evening cruises and day trips to the beach with my wife.

That's an awesome find! I also have some markings on my radiator cover. It's someone's initials and a date from '02.

Send some photos from the back of the car. I'm sure we could ID the exhaust just based off the tips.

Will do, I'll get a picture when I get home after work later today.

I haven't driven the car since I've gotten it home, been getting rides from my wife to work, getting an 03 Mazda Protégé in the next couple of days as a DD.

I then need to figure out insurance as state farm who's been my main carrier will only cover 12K if there's a total loss. So I need to do something about that before I start driving it. But so far every trip into the garage is an extended one.

I'm having a hard time ID'ing that exhaust lol and here I thought I'd be helpful. It's not a rolled tip, but instead single-walled. I believe it could be a Magnaflow setup. If you crawl under and look right after the mid-pipe, you may be able to see the company's branding on the actual muffler.

It also looks like you have an aftermarket tube like... extension on that intake. Stock intakes are all black plastic and remain under the hood, not down in the fender.

Oh, and the main thing I really wanted to tell you to do is look into Hagerty Insurance! They will insure your vehicle with an agreed upon value and you are able to get full-coverage through them for around $400 a year-ish. This includes comprehensive. All they ask is that it's not your daily driver. Seriously give them a call. There are several of us here in Dallas that use them.

I'm 25 and just dropped AAA. I was paying about $200/mo with a perfect driving record.

So that is a great and clean car. Couple points from looking at the pics and discussion on any changes from stock:

1 - The 03/04 Cobra verts came with stock sub-frame connectors factory. They would be bolted in (I believe just like the Mach 1's). Coupe did not get this.
2 - As you stated, those are the stock rims
3 - Exhaust is likely magnaflow as others mention, but too hard to tell with the lighting of the picture.
4 - Under the hood, it has some portion of a cold air kit. Perhaps bbk? You might look into JLT
5 - The power distribution block (electrical box by the battery) has some type of aftermarket cover on it looks like with the cobra.
6 - You still have all the stickers around the engine which is part of it being low mileage. Rare to have it as miles go up
7 - Cobra in grill is aftermarket (was a horse) but everyone changes this as their first mod
8 - With your mileage, if the tires were stock they would be Eagle F1. I can't tell from the pic.
9 - That signature by JC is amazing. Definitely something they had to seek out somewhere.

Great looking car!!! I am sure you will love it. I still love mine after 15 years.

I tried getting under there to look, but unfortunately I couldn’t tell which exhaust was there.

Yes, I was thinking other than the exhaust that air tube was definitely not stock. I will be purchasing a no tune jlt in the near future.

I just contacted Hagerty. And they quoted me at 1k for the year. Which I was ready to do, until they needed that whole payment up front. Florida doesn’t have a plan where it’s deducted monthly the agent told me. Also, I’m 43 with a great driving record. No tickets, DUI, accidents. How do you get the $400? I’d do that instantly.
