Hey guys and ladies! I’m not sure if this is the right place to post so move it if you need to. Hey I’m coming fresh from the LS family and finally made my leap to a 2003 Cobra! I’m SUPER ignorant about these cars and the acronyms and lingo that you guys have created over the years! But I look forward to speaking with you guys and getting some information and help along the way! So like I said it’s an 03 Vert it has a porter blower, 2.760 BulletFlow pulley, JLT CAI, JBA Headers , SCT MAF or Chip??, some type of O/R X-pipe and magnaflow mufflers, And a shifter of some type. I was told it put down 474 with a conservative tune.

Welcome and congrats! I think the gold wheels don't look to bad actually. Different for sure.

Thanks guys. Yeah I wasn’t sure about them at first now now that I seen the car in person I loved them. Does 474RWHP sound in the ballpark for the mods I had listed?

Very nice. Welcome to the Ford family. I too was a big GM guy, but I bought my first Mustang in 2013 and have been hooked.
This is a great Mustang forum with great info and great people, so you came to the right place as well.
Congrats and enjoy.

Congratulations on your OW Cobra, and welcome to SVTP. I think the gold wheels compliment the parchment top. If you like them, definitely keep them.

Your blower is ported apparently, so with the 2.76 upper pulley and a conservative tune 474 is a tad low. What octane fuel are you using? I'd recommend that you have the tune checked on a dyno. Unless the seller gave you dyno paperwork.

I recommend that you browse through my Terminator FAQs.

Enjoys the forums here. You'll find a ton of great info, get help when needed, and hopefully help others in due time.

He did not give me any Dyno paperwork. What do you think I should be getting from it? And I will do some checking around as to who is a good tuner for these cars in my area. He said it put down the 474 on 11psi boost.

I already took a peek at that page. But my phone wouldn’t let me see half of the info so I have to wait until I get to work tomorrow to see the rest. I need to study and memorize all the info!
