The 2018+ MY Mustang unfortunately seems to not be as prolific around here. The 15-17's sold like hot cakes but I can tell Ford took a chance that may not have paid off on the 18+ (front end). Couple that with the asinine pricing, I'd rather buy a used vette.
I like the front end of the 18. Ive seen a lowered orange one on wheels and it looked sick. dang, id get that as a daily driver... maybe. lol

not at my post...
Honestly the more realistic thing to happen for me due to the C8 is to let everyone sell/trade in their older C6/7 cars, and just buy one of those at a "I have to have a C8 now, so here's a fire sale price" kind of deal.

Nothing wrong with the older C6Z's, or even C5Z, or a C7 GS or ray.

The C7 GS would probably be my choice out of the 3 (C6Z, C5Z, C7 GS) Fit and finish is much better in the C7. I had a C5Z and loved it, but the interior quality left a lot to be desired, IMHO the C6 ain't much of step up either. I used to not care so much about those things, but as I get older I have started to...

I jumped ship in 2016 (GT500 to a Hellcat Challenger) and have seen nothing from Ford to make me consider getting back on board any time soon...

I'm in a waiting game at the moment but the route I want to take should be much clearer by the end of August. The intro of the C8 and the ridiculous deals Dodge is running at the moment have definitely had me go back to the drawing board a little bit....
-Was thinking about getting a Trackhawk
-Then started considering working a package deal with a Chevy dealer and picking up a crew cab 1500 and a C7 Z06 or maybe a C7 ZR1 if I could swing it
-Now I've started considering a package deal with a Dodge dealer and grabbing a crew cab 1500 and a redeye challenger
-Now I'm thinking pick up a crew cab something and sit and wait to see what the C8 Z06 has to offer.....

6 months ago everyone would have been enthralled with the prospect of a car like that...then hit them with this "For under $60k!"

;)

Im holding out to pay cash for an ‘09 ZR1.

That's my least favorite angle on the car, the front end. But, it's slowly growing on me.

I am really considering it, but the sensible side of me says go scoop up a C7Z and have more car then I need anyway for 60k.

If I do go C8 I’ll wait for the GS/C8Z and see how they look. Ultimately for the price point they will be in I could pick up a GenV viper which I think I would gladly keep long term as it’s a much more limited car now.

We’ll see, we just bought our second house in a year due to a move for work/ getting closer to family now that baby two is on the way. I kinda have no desire to think about spending anymore money for a while lol

I just bought a 3LT C7 GS with PDR today. Pick it up Thursday afternoon. Headers and an A&A Ti trim supercharger kit incoming.

I agree totally on the interior part. There is a big difference even btw the 1LT and 3LT interiors on C7’s. Big step up from previous Vettes.

Out of curiosity, why buy the GS just to throw a blower on it when for damn near the same money you can get a C7Z?

Im not a fan of the C7Z tiny heat pump blower and massive discrepancy in performance based on air temp. GM ****ed up placing that blower on the Z IMO. I’d upgrade the blower either way and didn’t want a PD blower car again.

Not to mention I got a hell of a deal on it and it had every option I wanted down to colors and painted exterior vents front and rear which you never see.

Spoke with my father-in law yesterday. According to him he bought a brand new Vette off the showroom floor in the 60's for around $4,600. His hourly rate at the time was $8. Crazy how much the dollar has devalued over the years.

The front and side views of the car are great. But damn, I can’t get over how ugly the ass end of the c8 is.

The average minimum wage was less than $1.50 through the 60's and the median wage wasn't much more than that. $8 was nice money back then.

not me, these will be everywhere. No need to blow your load this early in the game.
well, Mustangs are everywhere too lol. I think blowing a load right now is justifiable =P The C8 would be the daily and the Viper would be my W.W.
