he is incorrect. the conduct of the man was orderly. that's a junk drawer phrase for cops when they have nothing on anyone.

I’ll politely disagree, especially in this case. The kid was poking the bee hive and he knew it.

You don’t walk into a WalMart dressed like that right after the mass shooting unless you’re trying to get a reaction.

The word of importance is CRIMES. If the boy was lawful (open carrying and not threatening people) I'd say this one will be difficult to make stick and lawsuits a plenty will be in the works and rightfully so. Taking a legal activity and making it illegal is going to present a problem.

Is there a right not to be offended, scared, etc..,? A legal activity is still protected activity regardless of what happened a few days prior and how stupid the act.

this is where jurisprudence of the average american (including LEO's) needs to be bolstered. some crimes require intent to be established as part of the crime. murder, for example, cannot be unintended. motive is required.

the law requires 2 things at least for this charge to stick. intent and disorder. you've assigned intent knowing nothing about the guy's motives and the only one pointing a gun at people is the guy holding him at gunpoint till the cops arrived.

so who REALLY caused the disturbance?

now, its it understandable? sure. is it illegal, not from what I can tell. how do you KNOW the guy wasn't kitted out just because he was feeling especially paranoid about these recent events?

any halfway decent lawyer would have a field day with this if they had any balls at all.

then you get people making more bullshit laws about like not being allowed to wear body armor or something like that in public.

all because some idiot decided he wanted to screw with another idiot who was probably more incompetent than malicious.

here's an idea. you see something like that just watch and if the guy moves to raise a weapon to do evil stop him with whatever force is necessary.

"yeah but that means we won't know he's gonna do bad stuff until he starts to do it"

uh yeah, that's what JUSTICE actually is. anything else is pre-crime bullshit taught by shitty academies teaching people with badges to constantly err on the side of safety. well guess what? liberty is scary.

that's why most countries don't have it.

I can open carry here in CT. I conceal carry because I can be pretty much assured that IF I were to go out in open carry mode that some snow flake would panic and call the cops, potentially telling them that I am an "armed shooter". That wouldn't bode well for me. SUCKS that leftists put such fear in the minds of Joe 2A Citizen that it is less than safe for them to open carry.

By the way, Bruno, I agree 100% with everything you said in your post.

This ^ as well as if your ever in a situation with an active shooter I hope that would never happen. If they see your open carrying they will take you out first.

That’s how you think the law works?

Go look up involuntary manslaughter and tell me again about intent.

Where does the law about Disorderly Conduct say anything about intent?
