Why did they need a separate lever just for windshield wipers as well?? i would think you would want less levers and switches, multifunctions stuff and clean up the clutter

Curious what the math says on new gt500?Your saying svtp used to be a snake pit and an SVT Lightning owner would rather read than post for several years cant recall what it was like?
Basic math says 900hp 3700lb Mustang can run 9s too, but thats not always the case, as we can see
I gotta disagree man. I wish all performance cars were as configurable....not like Ford does it where you have to add a $7k package to incorporate the one option you were looking for. I get it from a manufacturer perspective but if you're a buyer customizable option are nice.
I would still take a 2020 GT500 over the C8 base/Z51 Corvette any day. Better looks and I'm sure it's got better performance as well. Not to say that the C8 Base/Z51 isn't a performer, I'm sure it is. But, not better than the 2020 GT500.

Not disagreeing at all on options, but they should have bundled a ton of the little add ons somehow and list as a bigger $$ amount. It makes it more clear and understandable IMO
If you cant comprehend that option list then go back to pre school, its stupid simple. Also nice not having to buy an entire 5k package with shit you dont need just to have one certain option. This is a FAR superior way no matter how you try and spin it.

You missed the point, open eyes and read before. A buyer cross shopping that has never ordered a vette, this process has nothing to do with comprehending. It would be time consuming, and confusing to some. Not all, some. To me its overkill, and never said put a bunch for $5k. Maybe $2k or less bundled to simplify it is all I am saying. When I was about to get the '19 ZR1, the option list and features were so much better to review while your at the dealership. Honest question here, is the C8 ordering guides etc the same as the C7s?

Did you know it was almost a $10k package option to get the integrated garage door opener on the Raptor? So many people were highly pissed about that. I’m sure once the configurator is out on the C8 there will be no issue with selecting options.

You should do your research before ranting. 2015 GT350 had tech package and track package, you could only select one or the other. If you got the tech pack, it comes with the full 8inch touch screen and not the 4.2. In later years now, you can have both/they make more of this stuff standard. It should also be noted, it is very easy to upgrade to a 8inch screen in any Ford if you dont have one or go to sync 3 from sync 2.
The ones I listed were just the tip of the ice berg, there were many more.
GM does that too? I was driving a BMW and went to my standard Ford left multi fuction switch, and the it was on the right of the column and twist it different. I was lost, lol. Every Ford ever has only had the left arm.
Those saying you dont want the lift kit, you for sure do. Some options that wont be available until next year builds, include PTM or carbon fiber lower pieces. You dont want to be hitting that on bumps and angles. Also, everyone knows the magnaride is amazing, so you want that. Although, you can order that without the lift.
