It's been since November of 2017 since I've had my agreement with Nick...

It's been a minute or two, huh?

On the bright side, at least your old Fox got some good attention.

Does anyone know who makes the rolling display stand? I would like to see a video of them rotating the car.

Wow, yea that has been some time waiting. I started my hunt shortly after my winter sled racing ended.. Glad Nick made a comment in a thread about me putting my money where my mouth is lol, and here we are! Hope to see mine before Turkey day.

Interesting. Do you still get the back seat in a box or something? I mean. You paid for it still right?

No. The CFTP package was going to be $20,000, but they took off $1,500 because the rear seat delete.

Nope, they charge you for not installing or suppling a back seat.
I remember when I bought my 2013, the top and side stripes were included in the price of the car, when you went stripe delete, they didn't lower the price of the car.

I think Ford missed a smart opportunity here.

To begin with, the rear seat delete (RSD) is the same one used on the GT350R for some 6 years now. Ford Racing carried the part but as time passed they no longer offered it. With both GT350R models and the GT500 CFTP using it they should once again be in plentiful supply. FR should be picking up the part again.

That said, I get that Ford tried to pack in as much content as they felt necessary (with a certain degree of exclusivity) in order to justify the 18K CFTP option. Regardless, Ford should have made the RSD an option for non-CFTP cars. The delete saves almost exactly 31 lbs and this would have taken the weight to 419X. Sounds much, much better than 4225. And I'm willing to bet it would have been a rather popular option.

I never understood deleting the rear seat in a mustang. I mean that’s the whole reason to buy a mustang right? 4 seats? If you want a two seater there are sports cars that out perform the mustang.

It’s like adding doors to a mustang. Why would anyone do that? If you want a 4 door there are better options out there.

I wanna say I paid less than $800. I buy most of my FR gear from Mike at Buyfordracing.

I never understood why anyone would welcome rear seat passengers in a Mustang unless you enjoy pulling your seat up and crowding the steering wheel, ala gramma. Was the GT350/R or this GT500 intended to be tracked with 4 people? Three people? If you want to carry more than two people you most likely aren't tracking the car (at that moment anyway). The rear seats make sense to you. But if you track the car or can't stand moving your seat further forward than normally comfortable, the RSD makes perfect sense.

I’ve heard the expression that opinions are like ***holes, some stink more than others. I notice a strange smell when you post. Your posts tend to aggravate me, maybe that ignore feature would help.
