This has probably been covered, however whenever I search I get a bunch of For Sale posts for some reason...

Anyways, I thought it would be easy to find an email tuner for my Cobra, turns out that hasn't been the case. All the shops that used to do it, seem to not do it anymore. I know everyone will tell me to get a dyno tune, but my car isn't heavily modded and I don't plan to do FI anytime soon and am mainly looking for it to turn the o2's off to get rid of the CEL.

Who do people use these days for a '97 Cobra? I've heard Bama isn't the best, looking for any insight. Thanks

The tuner itself would be the SCT X4 as far as physical device.

As far as who to get a tune from. Most wont change much on our year car until it is modded a good bit. But I am not sure who is at the top of the list anymore

Thanks, had a hard time finding an email for 04sleeper, not sure if he still does it or if it was the right email.

jman give me a shout i'll get you situated. The 96-97 cobras are one of my specialties.

Speaking of which, I have no idea why the 96-97 cobras specifically have been popping up so much recently. I've had at least 8 of them in my shop for a dyno tune in the past 3 months alone which is extremely odd. I usually get 1 every 6 months or so.

I'm shocked to see people are paying $1,000 for a dyno tune these days... Keep us updated if you find a remote tuner. Thanks.

Who is charging that much? That's insane. Is it just for one tune or two fuel tunes? Around me local tuners are at $650. For my remote dyno tune I paid $250 plus $300 for dyno time.

A guy in my local car club in North Jersey paid $1,000 for a dyno tune. It could have been two tunes, I'm not sure. He is boosted, though.
