glad the dog is doing well. Im glad the wife was able to make our dog think a pill was another treat, shes happy to take em most of the time, just gotta be careful not to drop any of ours!

well that blows. We were never really able to do anything because we're in FL and our place is in NC. A buddy of ours in Charlotte has started coming up to help out though, did 4 food plots of different things to try and out. He's also been putting out some minerals and such, we just gotta find some better pricing on stuff for next year. We've had some nice deer but need to step up the management part and see if we can do better

Yeah dude the weather up here had me waaay behind...then last month when I finally had a day I broke the damn tractor lol.

My cousin plowed and has had the disc on it...just. eed to plant. It's only 3 acres so it wont take long just need a few hours

Very nice man.
Do you own the cabin or rent?
Thanks. Own. It's been in our family since 1984 i believe. I spent my summers up here as a kid. Just had some visitors coming back to see if I refilled their feed.

Since the weather has been amazing this weekend, I got more work done than I thought possible. Mowed our overgrown 3 acres of lawn, picked up the clippings with the JD which I got running like a top (just in time for Fall leaf cleanup), edging, cleaned up the garden beds, drenched about 10 fire ant nests with poison, pressure washed the tractor, did 100hr PMs on it, fixed the pressure washer, replumbed our spigots with QDs and pressure relief valves everywhere, washed and waxed the Volvo, still had time to fix the garage door and spent another hour polishing aluminum in the garage. One nice cold day is all I need and I can work like a freight train.

Got up this morning, changed the oil in the F150, now taking the wife and the dogs out for a short hiking trip.

I need more weekends like this.

Working all weekend, put the side arm mower on the JD yesterday.

We have a lot of detention basins on our commercial properties, and a walking trail along a brook.

I only put the mower on once per year, it’s kind of a bitch to put on and take off. Plus if I do it now nothing will grow back till next spring.

The basin above is about 400 feet long, slopes about 12 feet down, and about 30 wide at each end. Took me about 4 hours to do this one.

More to do today and tomorrow and then done with the attachment till this time next year.

Getting ready to go look at a collection of very old and very rare guns (several 1 of 1’s) for sale.

Pick your poison.
