Looks like someone just threw together a spreadsheet.
That's only apparently blatantly obvious to a few of us.....

Not to mention the weight thing....nobody has said a word about the 0-60 not lining up with GM constantly stating it is sub-3.0, not 3.0.

Are you saying that you think the extra 1.5% of rear weight bias vs the 488 was GM screwing the pooch?
Do you automatically assume it will be worse off than a 488 due to this discrepancy?
None of the mid engined cars are even close to 50/50 that I can find, so I am, trying to follow your logic here...

What i am alluding to is that the cars the C8 are going against have already been on the market for some time. I wpould assume GM wanted to even the weight distribution to meet the all mighty 50/50 or get closer than the competition they had plenty of time to do so, yet they didnt. Why? I dont know.

Do i think a weight distribution closer to 50/50 would be better than the quoted Corvette number? Im sure it would have. Do i know if this car is worse off than the competition? No, i dont.

There is a reason the all-mighty Miata gets so much praise. Its always a target by mazda to hit that magic number if they can.

And 1.5% is enough to sway quite a few manufacturers to make choice decisions in chassis management.

Could have sworn that was only for the Z51 package as stated on the provided material. These all seem to be base specs which would line up...spoilt milk and all that.

Didn’t even notice the forward slashes after such as 0-60 and braking, definitely coincides with the Z51 package. Numbers look legit, hurt many feelings it will.

I wouldnt get hung up on weight distribution, 50/50 being perfect isnt always reality. The best track car in the world by a country mile has a totally retarded distribution and it clearly works. (911)

I dont think Chevy planned to build a track car. More of a drivers car. Throw some golf clubs in the back and still crush a backroad/scenic route.

Im sure later on there will be some ungodly Corvette Z0 or ZR something that will slay all on track but the base model was always a drivers car.

I just would wait to put all my betting money on those being the actual numbers until someone posts another spreadsheet on corvetteforum that doesn't have as many typos......

Nobody want to point out that the spreadsheet shows 0-100kph is faster than 0-60mph?

Here's a hint......100kph = 62.14mph

This car is so fast, it drives back in time over 60mph

As pointed out above, the two numbers are likely base vs Z51 . . . assuming the whole spreadsheet aint BS.

I have to believe that you aren’t serious with this statement and / or rationale.

Spreadsheet clearly says 0-60mph / 0-100kph, not Base / Z51

So you believe they likely used the Z51 number for 0-100kph and the Base for 0-60mph....

And you really believe this is anything "official".

Not to mention other typos like 1.4 mile when right above that it read 1/4 mile, among even more typos that jump out at you if one spends more than 30 seconds looking it over.

Hard to believe someone could be so dense, yet here you are proving the impossible.

It only took them 60 years to tweak the suspension enough to get it that way.
Doesnt matter, still the best, besides, porsche has been a front runner in racing since it began so that opinion is out the window.

Look at a list of all the fastest cars out there and the c7zr1 is the only one with 50/50 and its one hell of a jittery car to drive

50/50 is irrelevant
