Does anyone still make a single bolt aftermarket tensioner? Broke another one in 3 weeks. I have a bunch of leftover parts from my lightning and was hoping to do a 8 rib conversion, but forgot my tensioner is a single bolt. I appreciate any help thanks.

I believe American Racing Solutions still makes one. You might want to figure why it's breaking first. I ran a stock tensioner on a D1 for a long time and never broke it. What blower are you running and how much boost are you trying to hit?

Just a p1, stock pulleys. Now that I have a trans and bottom end that can handle it, I wanted to see what I can get outta the p1. I have a feeling I'm going to regret not going d1 when I bought the kit though.

And thanks just looked up the ARS tensioner, it's still available just a little costly . I'm going to try one more stock tensioner and align my pulleys a little better.

Any idea if ARS just a new name for Thump or is it different people/piece?

I haven't looked to hard into it, but I'm pretty sure it's a different company entirely. I know Thump is still around. They just decided to stop producing the single bolt tensioner for some reason. At least that's what I've seen.

I emailed thump this morning about the single bolt tensioner and they just got back to me and also referred me to ARS.
