not at my post...
This.

Im 5'5"and you can barely fit another smaller human in the back seat directly behind me. To get a normal sized human back there I have to move my seat all the way up.

Im a short **** and I have to get uncomfortably close to the steering wheel and pedals to fit a passenger behind me. The back seats in the Mustang are literally a courtesy and Mustang should be viewed as 2 seat sports car.

my two daugthers can barely fit back there, 8 year old and a 14 year old...my wife has been bugging me to finally get a grown up car, so I got her a suburban to replace her tahoe :D We never go out in the mustang anymore, don't like shoe horning my oldest into the backseat. I am LMFAO at all the four seat talk... the only thing going back there are groceries and Oompa Loompas...

Well the base vette basically stayed the same (within 5k), so it's very likely the Z06 will be about 85k at most for base.

(For the record, I never said it will cost the same, I simply put the 2019 price up...you made the assumption; seems common for you to read one thing and then think another)

They are in the same price class...actually the GT500 COSTS MORE and will be slower, so there's that too.
Rumor is the 500 puts up times as fast as the c7z. Which is fair as it’s priced the same.
There’s no way the c8z does not go up in costs in some form or fashion.

Damn no hot veee? Wait could wraith be wrong again?

Lightweight 9k rpms c8z would be badass!!

Are you so dense that you really think it was me saying that or simply me sharing what Motor Trend posted? Oh wait, you're from Cali...nevermind.

Either way, looks like it will kill the GT500....so there's that.

A comparison of a SUV and Truck not being in the same class is not the same as a comparison of two sports cars. Not my fault Ford made the GT500 a pig again or made it cost more than a Z06. They are both sports cars offered by rival companies. Unless of course you go with the notion that Ford has nothing in the less expensive class that the Corvette is in?

I can't imagine much mass cross shopping amongst Vette and Mustang owners....

Maybe for base mustang but for sure for the 75k version with 10k ADM. There is a whole thread about guys canceling their gt500 orders that they have been waiting on for three years after seeing the base c8......

Corvette - trying to be the best performance bang for the buck.

Shelby - trying to be the best performance bang for the buck.

Price similar.

Pretty comparable.

By pricing, let's throw in a Tesla model _____ and make some weird comparisons.

Again, these are not going to be cross shopped by even 100 people in the world.

Tesla is not trying to seize the “most performance for the buck” side of the market.

Absolutely incorrect assessment. Many many many people cross shop Shelby vs Corvette. I for one, have done that more than once. Know many people that have as well.

I'm cross shopping them. At least if a Ford dealer lets me test drive one. I have friends who are also interested in both among other cars sub 120k

Most performance bang for buck is always gonna be a used car.

Maybe you're right. Any time I have met a GT500 owner or a fancy vette owner, they have not even explored the upper echelons of their vehicles' performance. Cars and coffee commute and then a quick babying in the garage.

I know some of the 911/Cayman guys are looking at the new mid engine Vette for sure, but that makes more sense as the Germans are stupid expensive for what they use it for- tracking and autocross.

Any dealer will let you test drive one with a big bag o cash :p

I'd kill for a GT350 in my garage and on the track. Vettes just don't do it for me.
