Trip meter - fuel consumed accuracy?

After putting the VMP supercharger and tune on earlier this summer, I just noticed the amount of fuel being reported by the trip meter seems to be off quite a bit. Although I don't expect it to be spot on, my latest numbers are almost off by two gallons...in reporting more fuel consumed than actual.

For example, the trip meter reported today where I had consumed 14.9 gallons, but when filling up, its only 13.1. I noticed similar differences on my fill up a few weeks ago.

I'm curious if the supercharger / tune has something to do with this, or if its always been off by this amount??

Is there a way to calibrate this, or something the tune itself has affected how the computer is tracking/calculating?

Mine is the same. Roush 2.3, 95# injectors vmp tune. With the stock injectors that came with the roush and a vmp tune it was accurate.

TType85,

Are you saying your calcs were fine with the initial vmp tune and blower install, but changed with the install of another set of injectors?

Yes, with the 47# injectors that came with the roush and the VMP tune it was really close just as it was with the roush tune. With the bigger injectors it is off by a gallon or two every tank.
