I see the Handling package still doesn't include
•Adjustable strut top mounts*

And the rumor of the Cup 2 tires getting induced in that package seems dead

Looking at the pricing I cant help but think ford priced the car this high because of all the adm people were willing to pay.
This is a car that now rounds out to $100k WITHOUT adm. When the GT350R was at the height of its price, people were willingly paying over $100k. The average price with adm was around $80k, I know because that was my budget for a Viper or C7Z at the time '16/'17.

Man its crazy that a loaded GT500 is now $105k. I think people that paid ADM ruined it for everyone. Ford saw how much money the stealerships were making and we're now at this point.
For reference, the 13/14 GT500 was $65k for a loaded glass roof version, maybe $67k/$68k (convertible).

I disagree with that. In 2013 F-150 King Ranch versions had MSRPs of $52k, now they're upwards of $73k, and the trucks haven't had near the advancements in technology as the GT500.

The transmission alone is $25k.

18500 seems steep for what the CFTP offers.
Better tires
CF wheels
Rear Seat Delete
Recaro Seats - How much less do they weigh then base seats?
assorted aero bits.

The CFTP is going to be what 100lbs lighter then the Base 4225? (24lbs for all for wheels, 50lbs for rear seat delete, 10lbs for wing, 20 lbs for recaros?...should we add weight for the Adjustable strut top mounts and wheel lock kit and splitter wicker?)

Will anyone beside professionals tell the difference? 8lbs of rotational mass at each wheel would be noticeable on the track but would you notice it on the street?

Either way Velocity Blue with White Stripes or Black stripes looks killer

Imo the max track pack should have been offered minus the CF wheels for $8500. No a basic track day enthusiast wont tell much of a difference, their butt dyno might argue but fact is..no. Tires are more important

Billy J will tell you that anyone that drives the car will be able to recognize the difference between the two wheels.

LOL.

Disagree with his assessment and you too will be classified as nefarious.

0 chance anyone short of a professional driver can tell the difference on the wheels...now, tires...that's another story.

I think he is right on some points. I don't think the base car is marked up but some options that are the same as the 350 but are twice the price. This to me is a cash grab.

I don't disagree with the vinyl stripes costing the same, etc.

Charging more on a higher end vehicle also garners for respect though. Capitalism at its finest.

Is Velocity Blue the color that we’ve seen on several mules/show cars?

Or is that Ford Performance blue?

Regardless, velocity looks great on the site...maybe not for 20k more than my ‘13 was though..

I don't recall seeing any difference in the front splitter / dive plane composite between base and CFTP, but the online rendering of the CFTP splitter/DP appears to show a CF weave "look".

Ill tell ya there are FAR greater things that an average joe wont notice or benefit from regardless of what their ass is telling them. We can agree to disagree again if you wish. Dont try and tell me you wouldnt rather have the full on track pack for less money anyway without having to pull a clown act to get a willy wonka golden ticket... I bet the wheels are less than .5sec difference. Nobody short of seasoned vets are wringing that out.
