Honestly, if the DEF and SCR are as durable as they seem to be, you dont need a tuner or a delete. This 2020 Super Duty and the RAM with the HO 6.7s prove this.

But think what kind of power can be made with the tuner and delete

Did my car need a smaller pulley? Nope but then driver wanted one lol

The interior and the bodies will fall apart before those drivetrains ever quit.

I'm impressed by the engineering they've put into the 6.7 and Cummins, but the quality of the truck bodies are severely lacking.

I'm enjoying Ram & Ford engaged in a torque war now.

Although if I get a 2500+ it probably would be a gasser.

lol. I mean, if I won the lottery i'd buy a new diesel Ford, and then i'd buy another one to drive when that one inevitably breaks. I love the trucks. Inside, outside, power, all of that. But they just are shit quality like every other American manufacturer.

Nah. I just don't see the point in paying 100 large for a truck that will be in pieces 5 years from now. The only new diesel worth buying is a base model with rubber floors and no junk to break.

you will pay no where even near that unless you are one those morons that needs a fully loaded, lifted brodozer to jerk your buddies off in while listening to florida georgia line....

Honestly, I want a new F350 CCLB 4x4 PSD. I genuinely only want an STX. Leathers nice but fries your ass in the summer here. Just want a nice basic truck. Ive read the XLT now comes standard with the emergency brake assist BSM and all that shit.

Not for me. Just wish I could get the tan interior option with STX

My MIL got an 17 250 powerstroke 4x4 STX, fairly base for 47-48, then had it leathered out for 1500 bucks.

or you can wait and buy a loaded used one that's around 2-3 model years old for nearly the same as the above base MSRP....its amazing the bloodbath guys take on trading these in, especially the loaded out trucks..

I really love what ford is being able to achieve with this 6.7. As someone else state i would also favor the gasser myself. The diesels over all costs long term seem to be higher than gas version.

Definitely cool but serious guys, who uses an F350 to tow 30k + lbs? At what point do you just say screw it and get a F650 or another Med duty? I mean we have a F350 6.7 and a 3500 Cummins HO with Aisin and when we have to pull any real weight it gets hooked up to our F650 with a measly little 230 hp Cat.
Don't get me wrong I would love to have a new SD with 6.7 deleted making 1050 ftlb's just to make my pecker bigger.

I don't know how we ever got by in the '80's & '90's putting 8 tons in our F350 dump powered by 6.9 with a 4-spd, or worse a 351 carb'd H.O. /Oldguyrant
