edit: after seeing the overall housing prices I think I'm going to pass on NV. I need a cheaper Republican state =)

sup my dudes. I know I have seen a few of you that live in NV. How do you like it? I won't be able to "open shop" in Vegas, but Reno/Tahoe area might be a possibility. the only thing drawing me back is the housing. The prices are HIGH just like CA. The positives I see: guns, lakes, dirt bike riding, TAXES, camping, snowboarding, casinos, etc. Is NV full of democrat ****** hippies like CA? What are your thoughts??

I just left the Reno/Sparks area. It has turned really blue and housing is full retard. But as far as outdoors stuff it has it all. I miss the fun but it started getting ugly when the whole dam Bay Area moved over the hill and ****ed it all up.

Besides Vegas, I have nothing to say about Nevada. What I do know a little bit about is Arizona and if I could live in Lake Havasu City from November to May every year I would.

Lake, guns, fishing, hunting, off-roading, partying, etc. Seriously would be heaven for me if I could swap between Wisconsin and Arizona.

Pretty much this. Colorado River area between Laughlin an Lake Havasu is pretty cool. Hell, you have 3 states that come together on the river.

I fear that Nevada is on the cusp of becoming like CA. SOOOO many people from LA/Bay area have moved there. NV is very blue, and its a wonder that the gun laws havent become like CA.

As an AZ resident, Im glad that most CA expats have moved to Vegas. And Im a former California resident, LMAO.

I found an area in northern Reno that is right on the BLM land. Pretty bad ass you can just walk out the door and ride a dirt bike and shoot guns. The guns laws are pretty lax it seems.

Former Madison resident now living in Vegas...while Vegas/Henderson is more blue than I care for, it is a definite improvement over Madison, the Berkley of the midwest LOL.

Housing market has peaked and is coming down. Overall cost of living is higher than the US average, but not bad, especially when compared to Cali. One thing is for certain...the communists from our west are moving in at an alarming rate. The good news is, they can't even hold jobs in Vegas of all places, so they move on pretty quickly and the cycle continues.

If only they all decided to move to Portland. And I mean no disrespect to our Oregon brothers and sisters.

It seems that they just pass through though. They come here, fail, and move on. However, they are replaced with more losers who come in, fail, and move on. It's a never ending cycle of failure and **** ups. LOL

Not sure where they go after they leave here though...Austin or Denver probably. LOL

SO .... whats are the "good" "newer" spots in PHX? I spotted a few nice homes in Surprise. I mapped it out I'm only 8 hours away. Really not too bad of a drive, I do that shit all the time down to San Diego. May have to find a different career path but **** it I need out of this Commie Hell Pit. AZ looks really good for lakes/guns/dirt riding. And it's a red state.

Do you have to be in a metropolitan area? If not, you can find deals far from Reno and Vegas.
Reno area is pretty damn expensive. Basically CA prices. I'm trying to get away from the blue states lol. I think I've narrowed it down to AZ or TX. Just depends on what I do for work.

I would go mountains of northern AZ. Beautiful there with a nice but not brutal change of seasons. I would relocate there when I am done in Vegas but they don't pay people in my profession jack there.
