I would appreciate it if anyone that gets a change in schedule would also post their VIN so I can update the list. I have also started to list a history (as was requested) of the updates. Please list all the dates you have received and I will include it on the list. Check out post #1 and you will see what I am trying to do.
Thanks for your help
Earl

Here is an example:

0001
Orig build week: 10/14
Next build week: 10/21
Next build week: 10/28
Updated to build week: 11/11 (10/03/19)

One of the cars on the list was just bumped to 12/02.
It looks like the plant will close for Christmas & New Year from 12/24 to 01/01 and return to work on 01/02. Assuming there isn't a change with the new UAW contract.

And I just heard from my dealer my car was built the other day, should be here the week of October 19.

Since you guy’s 500’s are on hold, they built my 350 early. Thank you to all the 500 owners lol

Didnt this happen to the gt350's initial year? I recall people get bumped for months.

Ford is killing me. First they take forever to decide to make the gt500, then they take forever to release anything about it, then when you can finally order one, they push the build dates back and back. I want to be excited but anytime there’s a chance for a delay, there’s a delay.

I just got off the phone with FP and at this time no customer cars have been built or are in production. No answer as to why.

I heard there was/is a fairly consistent issue with the PP cars, and they are correcting it before they build any customer cars.

That sounds better than having the customer beta test a high dollar car.
They are building and have built Ford ordered production cars, just no dealer ordered cars.

More or less they've said:

1.) There is a consistent issue that they want to fix before it goes public.
2.) It's taken this long to go public, they don't want any negative exposure once it hits the ground.
3.) The vast majority of owners, even first build date guys, wouldn't have much time with the car before winter anyways.

There are a couple of potential problems with suspending production until Mar 2020, the possibility of having the 2021 cars being produced 5 months later and no way for Ford to build 5000 cars in that length of time.

Of note...Ford still has no Executive Order from CARB or compliance from the EPA for the GT500 engine. Federal law says they can't sell or deliver a car without it.
