Had a friend with one of these. Half the car was always broke.

They were cool in their time. I think it had a centrifugal supercharger. The VR6 one was actually a nice car. But yeah they were mostly in some stage of disrepair right out of the showroom.

I can see these being a collector car in the next decade or so. All of my friends were obsessed with the VW Scirroco, Corrodo, and GTIs. There was a big following for them out here.

They had a weird scroll type supercharger that was also unreliable.

I was more of a fan of the Scirocco. However I bought a foxbody in 1988 with no regrets (still have it).
