Lots of jeeps running around here. Ive only actually seen one Gladiator on the road in my area. We have a Dodge/Jeep dealer in the city as well. Doesnt seem like they were well received around here. Maybe the cost is hurting it?

I had only seen a few running around here but went to the local 4x4 shop and there were 4 of em in there handing over their wallets at the same time.

This will really blow your mind.........

The ATP for a Gladiator is OVER $56K! Virtually zero wiggle room on price to boot. You can buy a Ranger or GM twin for 20% off, all day every day.

It's a Jeep thing I guess
Only if Ford created a real off road midsize ranger...not this road going transplant from Asia.

Even in overseas Raptor Ranger spec I like the Gladiator Rubi so much more!

I'm assuming whatever is developed for the Gladiator will also be included on the current JL Jeeps.
A two door Wrangler with a decent power boost could be a lot of fun!

Curious if they will allow the this power plant to be hooked to a manual trans....? But I doubt it.
I can't find what the current Aisin AL6 trans is rated for torque capacity. But I'm sure its nowhere near the current 850RE 8speed auto's 500ft/lbs capabilities. (let alone the other ZF 8HP variants)

I doubt it, you can't even get the max tow package with the manual currently.

I like the Gladiator and it is on my list of potential next vehicles, but has slowly been falling from the top to the bottom of the list. It's hard to justify when you look at what you get for what you spend vs other vehicles. It's obviously more offroad worthy and you have the fun factor of taking the doors/roof off, but in reality, how often are you going to do those things vs just driving it normally on the road?

You aren’t wrong. It falls off my list too, then i have some dream about 40s, tons, and a turbo...and it’s right back in the running
