Looking to put a stand alone ecu in a 2010 Gt500. Would prefer to keep factory guage cluster.
I tried a search but didn’t find anything really.
Looking for feedback.

I am using AEM but not with factory cluster. Know people running Pro EFI and Motec as well but none on a stock cluster.

I will be using stock 2013 cluster with my motec I’m gettin a custom harness made that piggybacks on the stock harness for all inputs outputs to make everything work. But my harness will have a plug so when I eventually go to a 12 inch motec display.

12" screen = 7900$, is that accurate? Couldn't believe it when I found that price maybe I'm wrong?

Ya if you get the logger version it’s that expensive but I’m gettin the plain one since my m150 ecu has logging I don’t need that option

If I were to do a stand alone system it will be a MoTec wired into the Ford CAN bus. Such a trick set up doing it this way, MoTec handle all engine/drive terrain control through the Ford CAN bus and you still retain all other factory functionality. This is like what FatHouse Fab does on there cars, they also offer this service but its not cheap.

Sweet Christ, 3500-8000 for a display? Does it give you hand job while youre racing too?
Be prepared to be bent over for anything related to MoTec. My brother has a Subaru that he rally races, full MoTec system....he has about $30K just in that including the installation/programming.
