Very impressive to say the least what this car can do, not just a 4K lbs drag car, but can brake faster than anything within its price, and is fast around a track.

I remember when I was called a few things for saying the car would run 133-137.

If the car did 133 in Vegas over the last few days then it has 137 in it in rare air. Vegas had ~3000ft da and 10-30mph head mind with minimal track prep and a cold surface.

@ZYBORG @BrunotheBoxer

In the description it states it went 130 in Vegas. Trapped 133 in Florida.

just a bench racers delight. This is bound to be full of opinions so be respectful or I’ll ask mods to shut it down.

I’m really curious what you guys think the different trims will be capable of.

I’m personally optimistic to possibly greedy so:

•price
$74k base
$77500 handling
$92k carbon

(All plus other options.)

•0-60
3.5 base car
3.3 handling car
3.1 carbon car

•1/4 mile
10.7@132+ bass car
10.6@133+ handling pack car
10.6@131+ carbon aero car
(Assuming tire stickiness making a big difference, aero hurting speed)

•Top speed
180 (but capable of 205-208) base car
180 (capable of 205-208) handling car
180 (capable of 193-197) carbon car

•70-0
160ft base car
152ft handling car
140ft carbon car

•slalom
70mph base car
71.5mph handling car
74mph carbon car

•Leguna seca
1:35.0 base car
1:33.75 handling car
1:32.5 carbon car

•curb weight
4150 base car
4165 handling car
4099 carbon car

•200ft skidpad
1.00g base car
1.06g handling car
1.12g carbon car

From July 28th 2019 my guesses^

In the description it states it went 130 in Vegas. Trapped 133 in Florida.

Thanks for this, I didn’t try to open it when it said live in 4 hours^

130 in Vegas is still very impressive with those conditions

Well that was an oddly edited video...

The footage of the CFTP car driving around in Utah and on the track was already seen when the car first debuted 10 months ago.

Those are good times, if there is someone that can get the pleasantly plump Shelby to perform on the dragstrip it would be Evan. Now what are the times the regular folks who can race and have their own cars do?

Tony (still looking forward to some racetrack handling impressions).

Lots of 11.3-11.0’s were ran, a couple 10’s. 10.89 being the best. Stand mode got a 3.39 0-60 on a back road, it’s on his youtube page, and again that’s 3-4000 da.

25mph headwind, 2-4000ft da, and ho hum track prep was the Vegas setting

Even the Florida 10.6@133 was 935ft da

It probably has a 10.4@135 in rare da on a great prepped surface.

Drag radials will help a good bit. Looks like stangmode got 1.7 60fts out of it on stock tires.

It’s 760hp so without seat time, it won’t be exceptional but it’ll be low 11’s easy enough from a pulse and basic cognition, it is basically an auto after all

I only had a few road course laps and a ride along, but the thing rotates so well and there is no drama on throttle application at corner exit, hooks up and GOES!. The brakes are amazing, I kept braking too hard, way too early, thinking the speed was going to be hard to bleed off. DCT is amazing too. Was playing with shifts mid corner and it works more like a sequential thans than many DCTs I have been in. It was really refreshing how well this thing did on track. I asked how many sets of tires they had gone through and the guy sweared to me they were the same ones the entire press weekend. I found that hard to beleive, but if so, it is really impressive. The one take away for me is I thought I would feel the weight more, but really did not enter my mind on the track.

Must have been an amazing experience!
Only 12psi also, tons of potential.

Add lightness by removing the interior, ac, etc throw proper slicks on, out in a cage, and it should be close to hypercar fast at most venues
