Haven’t heard anyone else mention this or I’ve missed it.
I was going over my pics from the Romeo engine plant tour and was shocked to see what appears to be an 8-rib supercharger belt drive.
I was ASSuming it would remain 10-rib as previous ‘07-14 GT500s, but maybe not needed with only 12psi?
I know several blown Coyote cars need to move up to 8-rib for 1000rwhp, but I’ll admit I’m ignorant to the 8-rib limits.
Pics on phone I’ll post later.

I just noticed the 8 rib this morning, guessing it's a $$$$ thing, but not sure of the cost difference. I think the newer Whipple front drive blowers come with a 6 rib unit, but they offer a 10 rib as an option..

10rib probably uses 1% more power and the belt and pulleys added costs and weight not needed at the power level.

I'm guessing ppl will go 9s reliably on the 8rib setup.
