Man that front end is ugly. Everything about it. Limb risers are cool though and serve a purpose, I was tempted to put some on my XJ.

The average people aren’t buying performance cars? I would disagree with that, look at all the newer import cars that are becoming more performance oriented, I.e Kia,Hyundai And people are buying them up.

the import companies are filling voids that the American companies stopped catering to a while ago.

The average people aren't buying performance cars, that's exactly what I'm saying.

There are more trucks, compact cars, mini vans, etc on the road compared to performance cars.

Great, they're selling some? None of the foreign companies are outselling the Mustang, period. None of the domestics are, either haha

I was just thinking to myself when I started this thread how disappointed I am with Ford making all of my decisions for me. For shit sake, for the limited choices you get, nothing should be as expensive as Ford makes it. Just looked at a 2.7 ecocrap boost that my local dealer wants $48k for...lol.
If I want a diesel, add $4500 for a 3.0l and $9k+ for a 6.7 Powerstroke diesel. Oh yeah...got to buy a Lariat F150 for the 3.0 L diesel option...and then we are STILL charging extra for an engine....GTFO...

This was a little different..turns out I shouldn't have posted them though anyways.

Detroit Auto Show - Early June is still Spring.
If the car is done as one of our esteemed memebers here has pointed out, then why the hell are they waiting 8 more months to reveal the damned thing? Keep specs under wraps? Sure. No reviews until then? Fine.

But its done and they are waiting another 8 goddamned months to even show the SUV to the public? Stupid. Unless overall feedback was bad and they are making changes. Either way it shouldnt be THAT drastic that they cant show it with a "pre-production" disclaimer.

Because they hadn't planned on showing it this early.

AND if they showed it today, by the time it hit the ground people would be bitching about it not being here yet.

Meanwhile Jeep will sell another 250K Wranglers at $50K a pop.

There shouldn't be any surprise as to why Ford's operations are in shambles.

..... I guess I'm confused.

Did you know Ford has actually followed their timeline on the Bronco since the beginning with zero delays?

Nick, I guess what Im not understanding is how is it done and its not being shown by choice for 8 months? Another few months, ok sure. But 8 more?

Perception is reality, ford has done a piss poor job communicating that.

Perception is reality. So, let's say they show it today. Well, between now and next fall, there will be a bunch of pissed off people saying it's taking too long to come out, etc etc etc.

Instead Ford has ironed out a plan. It's been in the talks for a while. The dealers have seen it. The public will see it late spring. It will hit lots in the fall.

FMC decided that by showing it to the public in the spring, they can get order guides out, build simulations up, etc...and then customers will have something to talk about, rather than show it today and not have everything else for 8 months.
