Ok gang...I have an opportunity to trade both my benzes in and get a super mint, low mileage 2013 Mclaren Mp412c. Only 5k on it. Car would come with a warranty. The sticker on the Mclaren was over 300K and the dealer is selling it for 114k. Crazy...haha. Link...

2013 McLaren MP4-12C Base

This will be my last opportunity to get an exotic before the new tax law our great governor put into effect begins Jan 1 (after that there will be a cap on trade in tax allowance)

Also, I wont be spending my winters here much longer and will not need a daily driver. So my plan is to have an exotic that I will only drive on perfect days and have a beater for me otherwise...

Does anyone know the reliability on the older Mclaren? I was on the forum and it seems dam good but if something does go wrong there is a long wait on parts.

Please don't hate...I love both my benzes, but to me the mclaren in on another level and for the price I feel like I am getting a very special car at a fraction of the cost.

Thoughts!???

Looks like Ultimo Motors bought it off lease for $100,000 on 9/17/19. It was reported at Orlando Manheim auction with 5,933 miles. Looks like it had a really clean condition report of 4.2/5.0 - would not have been cheap to transport from Florida to Illinois. It appears to be a clean example. I would go for it!

If it gives you a willy go for it. My opinion is they aren't a very good looking car, almost like someone drew a generic supercar. Is the performance even relevant anymore? Again my opinion. For that money I'd rather have a newer NSX.

Even with a warranty I’d be hesitant. I’ve heard stories of people having a hard time getting their car fixed even under the warranty.

‘15+ R8’s under 150k too.

Ewww....good call. That's a hard one. I think it goes back to what "you" want from it.

Head turning OMG looks, verde ithaca Gallardo.

Performance: Audi R8 V10 plus. I speak from experience on that, dear God that car is amazing. I did an exotic rally riding passenger in it. There was a LOT of triple digit speeds for extended time, followed by equally impressive brake testing. Such an amazing machine...but for a lot of people it blends in when parked in a parking lot. It doesn't have the attention grabbing looks.

Sadly to get both, OP would need to like double the budget and get an orange Huracan. :)
