Hi, I'm the owner of the 1320 being discussed. Let me clarify all the BS in this thread.

First off, I'm NOT a "Mopar Guy"... I own a GT350R and Emily daily drives a 2019 Mustang GT with a 3.0L Whipple. We also own a Demon and a 1320... I recently sold my 2018 ZL1 1LE as well as my Vette. I simply like them all, completely unbiased.

So about the BS about the car..

1) DA was NOT -1500 it was -1050.... still amazing da but not -1500 and yes, I am a da nazi and own a Kestrel and use it religiously. Matter of fact we had about 5 Kestrels there and all were within 20 feet of one another. The car also went 10.80 @ 125 twice on sunday in -500 DA but didn't 60' as well.

2) Atco: The run was at Atco for ONE reason. It was a Modern Street Hemi Shootout and we were LUCKY enough to have great weather. I live in South Florida and have never even run there before. But the good news is - Atco is a PUBLIC track and the weather is often even better than the -1050 we had. So instead of complaining about the DA and Atco... drive there just like I did.

3) The car has NEVER been weighed, the scale was broken. I don't know what it weighs. I was pulling weight out of it until we left. Which brings up my next point:

4) How much weight I pulled out that I wasn't telling people about.... 100% BULLSHIT. I made a ton of posts about taking the weight out on Facebook, Instagram, and also in person I told EVERYONE. This isn't a secret in anyway... I have been telling people the weight of my 15" RC Comp wheels...etc. No tint on windows, not covered... seriously, no secrets.

5) It is NOT a FBO car. I do not have a ported intake (worth 10hp) or a Hellcat TB on there. The cars mods are as follows:
AFE Airbox, Stainless Works Longtubes, Tuned for 116 Demon Performance gas, 15" STREET brakes up front, not "dragstrip only ultra lightweights". Front rims are RC Comp with ET Drags. Rear is stock brakes, 17" Weld S71 single beadlock with ET Street R tires.

Pretty much gutted to the dashboard, with exception to the driver's door panel and center console.

The factory HEAVY battery is still in there, my new battery will save me 35lbs. Rear 15" conversion will save me 45lbs of rotating mass. Bumper supports still in car... that's 35lbs.

My GF weighs 125lbs, not 100lbs.

Next up for the car: 9s with head and cam.. with the factory shortblock. We might add a 150shot to see what it'll do but the focus is on NA.

Let me add a little more,

BONE STOCK to the tire in +3000 DA it went 12.0x consistently. Before installing the Whipple, Emily’s 2019 Mustang GT PP1 A10 went about a half second slower with 1mph more trap speed on the same nights. I’m sure I could have kept getting better at launching it but I ran out of time before the Whipple install.

Whipple Stage 2 and using Whipple’s tune plus Forgestar D5 Beadlocks with MT ET Street R it went 10.45 @ 134... I think it had 10.20’s in it with good DA.

My best stock time in the Demon with FULL weight 9.92 @ 137 and now it has a big round of mods and is headed for 8s boost only with a Magnuson 2650

Cliffs:

In unbelievably favorable weather, a max-effort/FBO, gutted 392 performed like a stock weight, bolt-on 5.0.

1) Not “Unbelievably favorable weather”
-500 it went 10.80 @ 125 that’s very good but FAR from miracle weather.

2) Not max effort!!! Still have about 200-300lbs to take out, about 20 more RWHP, lower rolling resistance, and fine tune the trans.

3) Maybe so, but that wasn’t really the purpose of doing it. The car is a moose and the 392 isn’t as good as a base platform to start modding, does that surprise anyone ?

4) With #3 being said, the 1320 ALWAYS beat the GT bone stock.

I don’t really seeing anyone In here talking shit I posted this because you are the first person to run 10s without heads/cam . After all it’s taking the new A10 bro a converter to crack into the 10s most of the time . Also I apologize for being off 500 da and you being fbo part . I’m sure fbo you will have a solid 10.5s car at that track and 10.9 car at home .

It was at the Modern Street Hemi Event and we happened to get lucky with the DA.

South Florida is still +2800 and super high water grains right now. We get about 2-3 cold fronts a year and hit 0-500 da otherwise you’ll never run great down here. The track is literally in the middle of a swamp, thick heavy wet air.
