All these young pups that don't know what a VCR is, sheesh. I've still got one hidden away somewhere. Also have a vcr-c video camera, 8mm video camera. Bunch of old crap. Sold a set of Altec-Lansing speakers awhile back from the early '70's. Big 15" woofers in those. Massive pieces of furniture is what they were.

You can make a killing selling that stuff if you find it. I was kinda shocked recently when searching for a VCR to buy. I felt they were asking to much for outdated equipment so I didn't buy it.

Or when they named the Honda Ridgeline a great light truck...LMFAO, doesn’t even have frame rails, it’s a unibody CUV masquerading as a truck...

I was a rookie lube tech at a Honda dealer outside Chicago when Honda sent out the first Ridgeline's for sale. I thought "Damn, they actually made a RWD truck?"

Popped the hood and saw the transverse engine and trans with a 7 foot long drive shaft for "AWD". Closed the hood and walked away shaking my head.

Ridgeline, ha! Those cars are such a joke.

CR is a tool, maybe the 1st step in researching a product for purchase.
You can take their recommended listing & compare it to reviews on the net.
When you find an item that they rank high, & 3 to 5 other reviewers also rate it high, then that product should get your consideration..

I will say this, Ford trucks tend to hold their value a lot more than Dodge does

RAM discounts like a prostitute trying to suck dick for crack.

Seen on some Ram forums that some people got deals of over 16k off MSRP in June.

So, good for the buyer up front but yea, resale will take a bath if you try to trade it in within 2-3 years.

That being said, the new Rams are awesome trucks. Enjoyed mine till I got rear-ended.
Interior is so much better than the Fords at each trim.
Exterior is subjective, but I found the 5th Gen to be a good looking truck.

Just wish they would have a 6.4L option for the 1500.

Yea see that's what get's me. I found a 2017 2500 almost brand new mega cab Laramie for almost 15k under market value but that's what makes me nervous on the back end.
I'm in the market for a new truck and I want either an F250 or a 2500 but like you said, Ram interiors trump Ford, but I think Ford actually makes a better truck but right now I can't spring for the higher buy.

I'd believe it. My dad's 09 Dodge truck is about to roll over 300k and it's been a rock. My 2012 Cadillac not so much

Years prior with the Northstar should scare away any potential buyer. For the life of me I can not believe such an expensive car was sold with such a poor head stud design.

Yeah. The GM engineers assigned to the V make a great car in theory but long term reliability of this thing is atrocious. My car is currently leaking fuel because they outfitted the fuel pump with a cheap plastic adapter. That's a $2,500 fix btw......$490 if you do it yourself. It's clear that GM doesn't engineer their cars for long term reliability.

I'll have to agree. Our 2015 Durango RT has been nothing but flawless after 65k miles.

Just turned in my lemon 2019 Jeep Cherokee yesterday to Stericycle after Chrysler replaced the turbo assembly, high pressure fuel pump, multiple relays and the computer. Got it back and it started bucking like a Bronco. Good riddance.

Just read that GM is suing FCA for labor racketeering for running temps to get around union.

LOL leave it to the italian-americans to get busted for racketeering.
