well here it is, shes finally alive again. started right up as if she was never sitting at all, no issues at all. no codes, no tweaking. (has open headers right now) Car should be hitting track either next month or by early January at latest. Just have to install some ARP NASCAR style wheel studs, secure the dash, and get the racepak on. (also give it a good cleaning lol)

Car is alive and moving under its own power, last thing to do now is put the conical end ARP wheel studs and attach the aluminum dash with racepak. Will have GoPro videos hopefully by the end of next month on either Sebring or Homestead Miami speedway

Yup, that’s the plan. Hopefully will be able to do local SCCA/NASA within the state. So Sebring/Daytona/Miami. Lol it’s been a journey for sure

Final updates,

Car received a proper paint job. Assembled almost everything. Car runs and drives, only needs some minor work on setting up telemetry and data acquisition system, splitter, and little odds and ends and she’s done. Over 4 years invested into this project and it’s finally almost done...thank you to everyone who helped along the way. It’s been a long journey but well worth it to restore a piece of Ford racing history.

Please post more! Awesome thread. I know track days are kinda up in the air right now, but any idea of a shake down date?

There are talks of Sebring opening back up in May-June, hopefully I’ll be able to do it then. Dying to get it on the track now that’s it’s almost done lol
