Have you noticed it more with the Twin 67mm T/B than you did with the twin 65mm T/B?
It has been a few years since I switched to the VMP Gen 2 and the 67mm TB but when I just had the 65mm TB, it was still an intermittent problem. Now it seems like everything I drive it for 5 mins stop and then restart it....I am getting the wrench light.

I would almost guess it's more T/B related. Does it happen more with the Lund vs the kurgan tune or about the same.

I run the Kurgan 91 octane tune exclusively on the streets now. I only switch to the VMP 100 octane tune when I go racing.

So I have been getting a wrench symbol in the dash every now and then. Doesn't matter what the weather is like or how long my car idles for before driving. One thing I do notice is that short drives with the car being turned on and off trigger it more often. All I do is shut the car off restart it and it goes away. It definitely seems to take some power away when it's on. I've checked over everything a million times but can't find anything out of the ordinary under the hood. I never throw a CEL so the SCT scanner is useless. My question is what type of scanner could I buy that would indicate what the wrench symbol is setting off?? Thanks for all input.

Did you ever figure out why your wrench light was coming on?

Im starting to think its a software bug in the base ECU control programming. Some cars do it no matter which TB or tune they use. Some mentioned that the quick on/start with the key is more likely to trigger it. Try turning the key on and wait a few seconds to start. Its possible the ECU takes a few seconds to set
