IF you HAVE to put a radio in an R, great choice to use a "stocker".

Good luck with the sale.
Thanks. I finally gave up and put the radio in after I took off the radio block off plate (still have) and found that as suspected the wiring was already there to just plug in. The block off for the antenna was also an easy fix, just routed through the fender (no cutting) and ready to go. Didn't add front speakers, put them in the back, again no cutting. Not quality tunes using a stock 1995 Ford Taurus radio, but enough to help pass the miles when driving.

Nice looking Cobra R. Best of luck on selling it. A lot of great memories attached to it, I'm sure.

Thanks, CobraBob. I wanted one ever since they were introduced and Ford brought out three to play at the Shelby American Automobile Club annual event when held in Charlotte. They were faster down the straightaway than a lot of the big block Shelby and Mustang cars. Idaho has seven Cobra R cars. 2 1993, 3 1995 and 2 2000 models.

Tasteful mods, but the drilling of the license plate bracket, ouch.

I know, the fine for not having a front plate properly affixed in Idaho is $85 and makes for an easy stop if the local police are looking for an excuse to pull you over. Paid the fee twice on different vehicles and finally gave up.
