It's my understanding that he is on his way to Florida first.

I heard him mention Daytona in the video, the Audi club of America does their lapping weekend in Dec. on the Rolex course. This year the weekend is Dec 9-11 so he could make it down there to run the car if he had already signed up for it BUT...……………..you had to fill out your forms and send in car info months before the event and I doubt he knew that his 500 was showing up in time for the event so who knows...……….

I did that event back in Dec 2015...………….trailered my GT500 there from Toronto to do it.

On another site, it was noted that the catch can drained back into the sump. Did Ford change that ??

I don't think the tech understands how this catch can works. No, they didn't change it.

Any oil that is collected by a separator/catch can is usually disposed of like used oil, not to be put back into the sump.

He's driving on PS4S not cup 2's. Base car only has PS4S factory AFAIK Cup 2's only on CFTP car.

That's not how this one works.

I never bothered to really find out how this separator works but if it was my car I STILL wouldn't let that oil collected go back into the oil pan. I probably would use a different can/separator that will collect the oil and let me dump it like used oil.

Why all the hate? I don't really care how other people come into their money or their cars. It's pretty awesome that he got his already.

It does drain back into the sump, by way of the valve cover.

I would attach a PDF file, but this forum has an absurdly small file size limitation.

Why? That makes no sense at all. That oil is no different than the oil currently sitting in the pan.

It’s set to 25mb.

That's what you keep telling me. I just now tried to upload a 5mb PDF file and here are the results. I get the same result with a 2.5mb file.

I'm getting that same issue when I upload pics using the site. I've shrunk pics down in size but I get that error message.
