Pretty awsome.

Sweet deal, so you get to play with the R&D car. Stout time. What can be done to the Diff to keep it from breaking next round out?

9" center chunk conversion....

The Redeye is pretty much a Demon minus some little changes, IIRC??
No crate package, wide scooped hood or killer chiller, not sure what else has changed.

Dodge was so gangster, they figured out a way to give us (the masses / common folk) a “Demon”, without shitting on the Demon buyers. Hence the Redeye.

Brace has been on the diff since before it’s first pass. Not sure yet what broke or what the upgrade will consist of. Either way it will be coming out hard next time.

This is also full weight. No seats ripped out, nothing but added weight from the diff brace and fuel system components ;)
Proper tuning is the key to making these run to back up the big dyno numbers.

I don’t recall the specifics on the tire, I’ll confirm Monday. It’s a Mickey.

No crate package and not the giant scooped hood. That’s about all it’s lacking though.

The Redeye has the killer chiller also. Put the car in track mode and it automatically comes on. It’s crazy watching the IC fluid temps drop to within a few degrees of ambient while you’re sitting in the staging lane...

Has the cool down mode built in too where it runs all the fans and fluid pumps for 5 minutes after you shut it off.

Wow that looks badass. Why dont the terminator guys have this option.

DSS makes that one...I bet one could be modified or a net new one fabbed. There are lots of companies out there fabbing custom 9” rear ends, mostly SRA, but I have seen some IRS center chunks.

I don’t know, the red eye is a pulley away from the demon all while saving $40k on price.

Any time you start getting 750/800hp cars off the showroom and 800/900hp cars with base mods, 9’s will happen with traction. That’s damn fast but not something unexpected.

Would I want to drive anything that could shear tires with a light throttle blip on the street? No. If and when they get street tires to stick on the highway and full throttle 2/3 gear pull, that’s what I want.

Redeye or wide HC at stock power or awd 700/800hp RS/M/AMG sedans is what I want to drive on the street.

Damnnnnnnnnnn bro!!! That's pretty killer!
I think the supercharger is a different size as well between the Redeye and Demon IIRC?

Demon and Redeye use the same blower.

main difference is the lack of drag mode for the suspension...but we seem to be doing fine there.

Now is it an actual “drag mode” or just different springs?

My understanding was the demon had softer springs out back to aid with weight transfer on launch.

LOL. Show me a car that goes 1.2X to the 60' on stock axles at 4200#s...Forget the weight. 1.2x at any weight. Not happening.

The only thing wrong with the fact that they broke is that we didn't bring a set of spares. You can hate all you want but I've never seen a Ford powered/Ford bodied bolt on vehicle that performed anywhere close to this.

Several Ford Lightning’s in that range, at least 1 in the 8’s right off hand and a few deep 9’s. Stock housing, stock axles, upgraded diff, but you said axles ;)

I like those cars but in the back of my head I can’t shake the fact it’s a 6.2 with a 2.8 TVS and it takes 20psi to run some numbers.

I should have said 'bolt on car' that runs 1.29 to the 60', race car is race car (truck) ;)

I thought the Demon had a trans brake and the Red Eye didn't? Impressive runs considering the mod list and weight.
