I cannot answer the EO Number, but you said if they made an aftermarket kit its a diff story. I just stated they did because I have it. They do not provide a tune of course, I guess that is where Whipple and KB may be wiser choices? Again I really doubt anyone is going to flag an OEM ford piece as not being original to the car.
GT500 2.3L TVS Supercharger Tuner Kit w/ 65MM Throttle Body (2007-2012)

That supercharger "kit" was only offered as "competition only" and was not 50 state legal. Ford does make 50 state legal parts, but all engine components will come with a tune that has been certified by C.A.R.B. Ford spends a lot of money getting something C.A.R.B certified and they currently offer nothing for the 07-14 GT500. Here's the current list of emission compliant parts. Here's their statement on emission compliance.

FRPP's Whipple kit was the only one certified for the 11-12. The TVS was only certified on the 2007-2010. You can look these up on the C.A.R.B. website.

This right here.

I wasn't specifically looking for GT500 supercharger upgrades outside of Ford (or Roush), but I'm not sure I saw one for Whipple's kit, as in not the one packed by FRPP. Kenne Bell was the only 50 state street legal blower I noticed with an E.O. None of that applies to me.... yet.

I thought they were, but I wasn't really looking for it and may have missed it. Thanks for correcting that statement.

Yet.... I'll probably be eating my meals, puree'd by that time, but rest assured it's coming. PA has adopted C.A.R.B. standards on 2008 and newer vehicles, so the laughs on you.

My car is an 07. I likely won’t have this thing long enough to care anyway. I’ll just build pre 08 cars like I have been.
Plus that article is for titling vehicles. You only title it when you buy it. This does not make mention of yearly carb checks

I can't see adopting C.A.R.B. standards and not monitor it. It's coming, they just may need time to implement it. It's not a bad thing when you have aftermarket that spends the money to get their parts certified. It just inflates the price tag of the equipment.

I am in NY, which follows the CA CARB. The main issue, in NY, is all the IM(emissions) Monitors must be on and pass the I/M tests. I have not had issues with the Tech looking for actual CARB stickers, but the PCM gets plugged in, and if all is not correct with the emissions, you fail. Most aftermarket tunes have done something that break the monitors and won't pass. Good idea to buy a cheap handheld to check the I/M status before going in for inspection. Most tuners can provide a tune if their regular tunes do not pass.
