Just wondering how many of us are out here dailying Shelby’s?

anyone run into some issues unique to using the car daily as opposed to a weekend toy?

To this day I’m beyond impressed with the lack of issues I’ve had, driving rain or shine in south Florida’s murderously hot weather.

Im in north GA, so I agree with the heat soak during the hot summer months. Other than that, no issues at all. I daily drive mine and keep my foot down and usually tires smokin! I have never had a garage queen and never will...My life consists of daily driving and/or working on and modifying it. Love live us muscle car enthusiasts!

This last few weeks of cooler temps has been the first time I got to enjoy the car without it bieng a heat soaked, boggy, mess lol

unpatiently awaiting for my department of boost titanic HE to show up to see if it cures heat soak a little , and definately looking in to either buying of fabing up a good heat exctractor hood.

I drive mine daily, just passed 50K miles and January will be six years since I picked it up. No issues, just swapped tires from MPSS to AS 3+ as I am planning a move out of SoCal in 21'. Also, changed out plugs and gonna swap tranny fluid out.

I’m running as3s and they’re honestly fantastic. I like a little slip anyway. Just I’m about 200 away 70,000

Albeit mine is only a 12, it gets driven as much as possible March-November. I upgraded to the AS3 as well as they are amazing. It's wonderful knowing you can set the cruise at 75 in the rain and don't have to break a sweat. 35* morning? No problem.

Aside from the insurance benefit, having a lesser DD keeps the Shelby feeling more special to me.
But I DD a Hellcat Charger so I get it :)
Great time to be a gear head.

That’s funny, the guy I got the shelby from had gotten a demon and that’s his new DD so he didn’t need the shelby anymore.

Be patient and keep searching man. They are becoming more available here lately for slightly better pricing. I guess it is due to age and the new 2020’s becoming available.

I can go buy w/e right now. But it's a recipe for disaster having 2 Shelby payments. Like my daddy said, "just cause you can, doesn't mean you should." LOL

To the DD tropic,
I (this is just me), enjoy taking a break from 700hp for a week or two and than getting into it. Feels like a whole new feeling and car. I think that's what keeps me motivated to make my next car payment every month. Thats just me though

And damn some of you all do drive your cars, 70k miles?? lol good on you not bashing
