Was up with my 1 years old at 5am searching Craigslist and made another weekend spur of the moment purchase. 80$ delivered to my door.

This weekend is the end of the firearm deer hunting season for me. Weather shouldn't be too bad so I'll be out all day Saturday and Sunday. Probably get out for an hour or two after work tomorrow too.

A good friend and I had a few beers Thursday night and caught up about our families, etc. Relaxed yesterday as I took a day off and got my son his Christmas gift. He pretty much picked it out. Today going to do some more Christmas shopping with the wife and then watch the Army Navy Game. GO NAVY!! Wife wants to do a Tacky Christmas lights tour tonight.

damn, NC goes until end of the day on Jan 1. Just got back, got a decent 8 point buck, first one I've shot in quite a while. This weekend I'll put together all the furniture I bought for the guest room, wire up a new head unit for the mustang and put the griptech pulley on the Procharger. Outside of that not sure, might go shop for tile for the screened in porch

Well on Thursday I was up till about 4am finishing some homework I didn't do and studying for my calculus final on Friday. After the final I went home and drank some beer and took a coma from 3ish till 8ish this morning. So far I have not done really anything except relax. I plan to do that the rest of the weekend. First one in a damn long time that I have not had some homework or a test to study for.

I will post a photo Tuesday or Wednesday. The artwork is pretty much ready to go, but I know the artist is going to work on the font/lettering, so it's better to get a photo of the actual tattoo on my arm. It's a fairly simple tattoo of an anchor, rope and my favorite Scripture, Hebrews 6:19. One thing that I did was having the Scripture verse attached to the end of the rope on the anchor. I like how it turned out. Next Spring, I'm planning on a second tattoo on my other arm centered on FAMILY.

I'll try to remember to PM you when I've posted the photo. If I forget, come back here on Thursday.

Do you have a picture to share Bob?
Had the tattoo done late yesterday. Roads were brutal (iced up), but we (wife and granddaughter) toughed it out. LOL. The tattoo took about 2 hrs. from start to finish. The design is based on Hebrews 6:19, Christ being the anchor of my soul. We changed my original design because (A) it was too small, and (B) there was too much lettering. The artist made some recommended changed and they were all spot on. I'm very happy with how it turned out.

It was quite an experience, Smooth. I had a great artist work on me, and learned a lot about the tattoo/piercing culture. I was told it would be a bit painful, but it was pain-free. I was jamming with the artist's tunes during the tattoo session. LOL. Took about 2 hours from start to finish. The artist took some time to explain about proper tattoo design, spacing of letters, tattoo size, etc. It was a fun time, and very informative. I hope to go for my second tattoo in a couple of months.
