So do I!
There are aftermarket cruise control kits that can be used but if I go that route I would like to find a way to use the factory cruise control buttons to operate it. I don’t like the idea of adding extra ones when the factory ones are right there.
@GodStang

I drove my car into work today and I tested the cruise control. It worked, but it seemed to surge a little. I'm not sure if its because the speedo was bouncing a little or because I was hitting a different part of the VE table. For the speedo it wasn't a constant thing, but it was there. I noticed when going up a hill it went really rich, like full boost rich, even though I didn't see boost. But one of the reasons I drove it today was to get some data to work with.

Does the ECU have an effect on the alternator on these cars like the newer stuff?

That’s great to hear the cruise control worked!
I use mine way to much to be without it.
Thank you for the info!

Do you have widebands installed? My car on jack stands is super rich but I never thought it was because of the angle...

Yes I do. It's not the angle. You'll have to adjust it. When I first got mine running it was super rich. I think the numbers in the idle bins were somewhere around 70. Mine are currently around 33-34.

If you're wondering about me mentioning the hill, I mentioned it because it put the load into an area I haven't touched on the VE table yet. Like getting into a part of a MAF transfer you haven't adjusted yet. I ran the data I had through the VE analyzer and made a couple changes to the AFR table and ignition table. I'm planning on driving the car tomorrow morning and will probably let the auto tune do it's thing. I want to start getting into WOT.

FWIW, I have the wideband sensors in the spots for the factory O2 sensors in my Bassani X pipe.

Thanks for the reply man. I’ve yet to tackle the wideband stuff myself but hope to get to it tomorrow now that I can spend time to focus. Busy office week.

I’ve only fired the car up but knew immediately I needed the widebands installed for it to operate properly. I think I’m making a mountain out of a molehill but just want to be careful this time around.

I've been working on this off and on since the end of October and I'm just now starting to feel comfortable. Taking the car for a drive really helped.

I haven't played with me MS3 PNP yet but my PNP for my street rod (Fox mustang unit), I just set auto tune to very easy and went out and drove the car around, then after a while set it normal and drive some more. After that you can start to get a feel for how far the tables are off and start filling in the blanks, then lastly try WOT which I'd probably manually set the cells in that area to be rich and go give it a quick hit.

I've been going between using autotune and using the VE Analyzer. Using the autotune really helped get it running. But I spoke with a guy that knows this stuff in and out. He gave me a few pointers and said I was on the right track. The part throttle is almost done. I'll need to do the accel/decel stuff soon. And I have a couple WOT hits on it. It was pig rich though. Good to know I have the fuel system for my set up though.

IIRC when I ordered my widebands I got the email from PayPal showing my order. Then right about the time I was wondering when I'd get a shipping notice they showed up at house.
