Ok svt men. The 64000$ question. It’s fine to be honest and have an opinion. What is a reasonable price to pay for a 95 svt 2 top 23k miles original unmolested no dings or dents , no leaks with all top accessories today?

Since I have been out of the SN95 world for quite a while, I would not venture to guess any current values.

Finding something unmodded/unmolested is going to be unique when shopping for those cars.

Hey guys 95 2 top owner checking in.

I bought mine from a member on this site and I may have reached on price a little bit when I bought it, but I really wanted it and I felt pretty comfortable with the guy I was buying it from plus the car was in excellent condition. The previous owner had all the OEM parts and many boxes of extra replacement parts he gave me that sweetened the deal. Also included with the car was the stand, window sticker as well as the VHS tape, the owners manual SVT certificates etc, and even an extra set of wheels drive shaft, belts and on and on . ....

When I did extensive research on valuing the car I would say a well documented one with lower miles could be 12-18k range. I have seen online some with over 100k miles and having the top etc 7-10k and even recently say a 200k+ mile one listed at 6500.

Robert M - Did you have any copy of the window stickers for either of your 95 hard tops? I just checked mine and did not see any theft light. I was curious to see what one looks like that has it.

I am loving this thread as it rare info on these cars. Not much activity in the last few years google wise.

I am not sure if I have copies of the 2-Top window stickers or not. It may take some time, but I will have to look....

I have always had soft spot for the sn95 since I first laid on eyes on it when it Came out since I was 13. Heck the last two years I have had a terrible time trying to bring my 96 cobra back to life.
Hopefully in the future they will gain more of a following

Are the SN95's considered a FOX platform car? I may be mistaken, but I thought I read that in a couple of previous posts in this thread. I thought the FOX platform was FOX, and the SN95 was the next platform after the FOX platform? and then the S197 and now S550. I had never seen the SN95's referred to as a FOX platform Mustang by Ford, I thought FOX was 1979-1993?

The “Fox platform” ran 79-04. The bottom side of the SN-95 and New Edge cars are quite similar to the Fox Body (79-93) cars. Ford did do some tweaks, but it’s basically the same platform from 79-04.

Ok, thanks for that info., I knew there were some updates on the bottom of the 1994, but was not familiar that they were still considered FOX.

It is a miracle, but I found a copy of both 2-Top window stickers without tearing the house apart.

With Theft System, $145 option (note SVT also on the window sticker)

Without Theft System and no SVT logo'ed window sticker paper.....

I don't know if the "SVT" logo'ed window stickers were something that came along in mid-1995 or it came either way throughout the years?

Hey thanks for taking the time to find these and post them! Mine is I believe an early year build ( #51) and does show the SVT on the window sticker, but no Theft option.

Pretty cool that basically 25 years later we are talking now of such things and having the info to share with others over computers and the internet.
$30,685 was pretty big money for the era of these cars. I paid just a bit more than that in 2003 when I bought my terminator new.

Good thread and again thank you for taking the time to share that. I know I learned more and it is what makes owning these cars fun!

The 94-95s are by far my most favorite cars. As a kid I wanted a Cobra soo bad especially the R. My first Mustang was a 94 GT Vert - Fun car that introduced me to many of friends today.

Glad I own one of these models and look forward to many more years of fun. Hopefully the value ticks up one day.. until then I’ll just enjoy owning and driving one.

I know the 2-Tops are cool and much engineering went into them, the hardtop itself, the storage dolly and large hardtop dust cover are also cool as well as the VCR tape, but one of the most unique features about these cars is the 2-piece package tray that fits in behind the rear seat and covers the soft top. When the hardtop is in place it is hard to tell that it is a convertible when those two carpeted package tray panels are in place. <<<That is one of those details that Ford produced to really complete this hardtop package!!

Loving all of this 2-top talk in here. I had the option to buy one years ago but could not pull the trigger due to it needing too much body repair. I wish now that I would have invested the $$$ into it. Live and learn.

I owned my GT close to 15 years with some tasteful exterior mods and it always starts a conversation on the road or parked. I really like the jelly-bean cars because they are very unique. I am also a fan of Saleen exterior body kit because it makes the vehicle more aerodynamic and gives it a nice mixture of soft/hard lines. My only issue is that front bumper valence is too short and should be extended downward to match the side skirt if that makes sense.

96 Mystic Cobra! That’s where it’s at! I always wanted one, but then I saw a Terminator... It kind of made me forget about the slow years of Ford.

They’re still a sharp looking car!

I own 3 SN-95s as of late including a low-mile 96 Mystic and I totally agree. It was the 1st color changing car and it is still stunning to see today.

Beautiful engine bay man...wow..!!!
Thank you sir!

It helps that the car only has 400 miles on it. I do have another 90s Stang with fewer miles, but the engine bay is not as nice as the Mystic.

Sn95s are the sexiest mustangs ever produced... just wish they came with more power.

Rumor has it that ford had plans to put the t56 in them. Even have the mounts already in the frame of the car. But ford decided to not do it last minute.
