♂️Not looking good fellas....

Not really, that's an M6. Manuals are gonna get smoked by the DCT. I love manuals but the writing has been on the wall for some time. The video of the 1000 rwhp Gen 1 GT getting beat by a stock 720S was proof enough.

Hellcats, due to their horrible curb weight and even A8 trans that can't compare, are going to need 100+ rwhp advantage to comfortably play with a GT500.

Nice try. Well, not really....

HC= 4429
500= 4225

That took me all of 30 seconds to research...

You don't pay enough attention on here. The 4225 was a head-fake by Ford. 13Cobra received registration info on Tob's base car and it was less than 4100 shipping weight, the kid on YouTube weighed his at 4080. So maybe 4150 with a full tank for the base car and less than 4100 with a full tank on the CFTP cars.

Gonna be some upset Hellcat owners once these cars get out en masse. A 900 rwhp GT500 is gonna run even with 1000 rwhp Hellcats due to weight and frontal area. The cars literally just started getting delivered so when they figure out the torque management it'll be lights out for Hellcats.

I think that we will find that there will be some significant tradeoff’s for folks running big power with TM tuned out. There is a very legitimate reason why Ford programmed it in. The street guys likely not as significant, but the drag strip guys definitely.

This won’t be like tuning an auto IMO. You effectively need to reteach a computer how to operate a manual transmission. That’s some complicated logic. Just think about all the variables an actual person launching/shifting a manual has control over. Now translate and explain that to a computer via lines of code.

Outside of Ford’s endless resources and expertise to engineer through all that complexity, imagine the hurdle the relatively tiny turner shops will need to overcome.
