Safe boost level for a BOSS?

So looking at the BOSS motors that I can find with 2.3TVS STYLE superchargers seem to be running 7-9lbs of boost. My question is what would be a safe level of boost using 93 pump gas?

Mine is running a bit over 10lbs and feels stronger than my GT500 that was 650whp. That could be the difference in gearing/weight of the two cars I think.
I welcome any knowledge or experience and opinions shared.

I'm running 12 psi (82mm upper / 15 OD lower) on 93 with a full bottle of Lucas. Runs like a raped ape!

Nice! Are you using TVS, centri, or turbo? What’s that one make at the wheels?

It's a VMP Gen 2 Stage 3 TVS. Have not had it dyno'd like this.

Man I bet thats a fun ride, mine is pretty rowdy on ten lbs with the roush TVS. What part of the country you in, as in how’s it hookin up in warmer weather? I’m in south east ohio and it hooks up much better in 60 degree weather as expected.

10-12 psi is about all you want to run on 93. now E85 or race gas is a different story!

You might get away with that on a turbo car... no way in hell id run 15 lbs on 93 with a blower.

E85
