I may be wrong but I am pretty sure it's a ranger cab slapped onto the bronco frame. They did say it is "prototype" testing. I highly doubt that's the body of the production Bronco, especially with zero interior.

Eh, not liking the ranger look. Basically just a taller focus, and now a stubby odd looking lifted focus...

This. They are only testing the chassis and suspension here. Perhaps drivetrain too.

Thats probably the powertrain validation mule. Body work is simply a frankenstein of current ranger parts to simulate load balance and aero. Also, production Bronco is supposed to have solid front and rear Dana axles to directly compete with Wrangler. ***edit*** the vehicle in the video had IFS.

I think it would be cool if they offered Bronco in 2 flavors: Traditional solid axle for off-road/rock crawling. Then add a dessert runner style "Raptor" with long arm independent front like F150 Raptor.

Looks capable of off-roading. I’ll wait to judge it’s looks once Ford finally releases the production model.

Eh, I don’t really consider a vehicle being able to drive around on a dirt road a capable performer off-road.

the fact this Bronco is going to be ifs, you can stop with any hopes of it being an off-road contender with the wrangler.

being ifs really gives me an idea of where fords head is at with this bronco.

I suppose you’re right. I’m just seeing what the video shows, I mean, I assumed it wasn’t going to be a rock crawler.
