I know Ron Silva. His car is a factory one-seater. The car has aftermarket wheels and tires and a lightweight battery. Stock 840 tune on MS109. Race weight is a few pounds heavier than the record car (Leah).
It appears he was talking about the 143 mph trap.Oh hush. You’re gonna give these GT500 fanboys an aneurism.
Funny how they quote the lowest a demon will trap on its worst day as what it traps all the time. That’s literally like me saying every demon traps 140. Which we know isnt the case, just like we know them trapping low 130 isnt either. It’s hilarious how they ignore the fact that multiple verified stock demons have trapped 140.
I’ve seen videos of the new GT500 running low 12’s and low 120’s. Guess thats what I’ll run with from now on and if any of them run better than that it’s because the owner is full of shit.

WOW!!! Beast mode. Stock car?If you can get past the shakes !
Just to share, here's a great Demon wheelie shot.
SRTMush from our track rental at OSW yesterday. Track was working
WOW!!! Beast mode. Stock car?
It's amazing how well these cars run with cool air.
Close enough for me with tire change. Everyone swaps out tires when they go to the track. Not stock, but close. I believe the guy has Mickey Ts, instead of the Nittos.
I dunno what the killer chiller is, someone school me. Is it similar to the supercooler gimmick Ford put on that 3rd gen Lightning concept?Wow,...look at that 60'. Nasty machine.
The best thing they did to this car was the killer chiller. I love that. Such a clever idea. Because,............it's all about going fast in a straight line.
Keeps in the IAT2 temps down.I dunno what the killer chiller is, someone school me. Os it similar to the supercooler gimmick Ford put on that 3rd gen Lightning concept?
I figured that. But how does it work? IIRC the lightning concept used the AC somehow?Keeps in the IAT2 temps down.
Great for supercharger cars as they run really hot. Helps the heat exchanger keep cool air going through the blower. Thus keeping horsepower loss at a minimum.

Yes, it ties into the AC system to use the freon.I figured that. But how does it work? IIRC the lightning concept used the AC somehow?

Thanks. I understand why it does it, just wanted to know how. So it's the same thing as Ford's Supercooler from the Lightning concept which was, what, 15 years ago? Guess the patent lapsed.

Not sure how it works technically, but it does use the A/C.I figured that. But how does it work? IIRC the lightning concept used the AC somehow?
