I know Ron Silva. His car is a factory one-seater. The car has aftermarket wheels and tires and a lightweight battery. Stock 840 tune on MS109. Race weight is a few pounds heavier than the record car (Leah).

Oh hush. You’re gonna give these GT500 fanboys an aneurism.

Funny how they quote the lowest a demon will trap on its worst day as what it traps all the time. That’s literally like me saying every demon traps 140. Which we know isnt the case, just like we know them trapping low 130 isnt either. It’s hilarious how they ignore the fact that multiple verified stock demons have trapped 140.

I’ve seen videos of the new GT500 running low 12’s and low 120’s. Guess thats what I’ll run with from now on and if any of them run better than that it’s because the owner is full of shit.

It appears he was talking about the 143 mph trap.

I thought these cars trapped low 140s stock, but from looking at the top 30 quickest/fastest it appears only one has ever gone 140.

It's also worth noting, there isn't really a comparison between the Demon and the GT500 at a drag strip. The Demon is definitely quicker.

Wow,...look at that 60'. Nasty machine.
The best thing they did to this car was the killer chiller. I love that. Such a clever idea. Because,............it's all about going fast in a straight line.
I dunno what the killer chiller is, someone school me. Is it similar to the supercooler gimmick Ford put on that 3rd gen Lightning concept?

Keeps in the IAT2 temps down.
Great for supercharger cars as they run really hot. Helps the heat exchanger keep cool air going through the blower. Thus keeping horsepower loss at a minimum.

I figured that. But how does it work? IIRC the lightning concept used the AC somehow?

Uses the re-routed AC to kill and chill your soaring IATs; therefore, allowing your timing to stay timed and avoid being retarded aka Serp Derp’ed.

Thanks. I understand why it does it, just wanted to know how. So it's the same thing as Ford's Supercooler from the Lightning concept which was, what, 15 years ago? Guess the patent lapsed.

Ford gave it a nifty name, but most certainly didn't invent the technology.
