Hey Fellas been searching for a clear answer on this so was wondering how y’all guys relocated battery to trunk, i bought the flaming river fr1010 kill switch that has the magneto option to kill the alternator from making power, my question is how did y’all guys wire y’all’s setups, I was just gonna put all the wires that were on the positive terminal on a remote stud run wire with an in-line fuse back to the kill switch, will this method kill the alternator or not if I kill the switch ? Any tips would help thanks.

What is your objective, in moving the battery.
Remove wt from the front? look at the light wt batteries.
No work, just money.

I had the battery moved to trunk over RR wheel in my '08. A shop did it at not much expense using a very thick low resistance cable for the extra feet. I did not notice much difference in traction. Now....to replace my OED '13 battery I'm looking at this:
ATX30-HD Lithium Battery – Antigravity Batteries
Granted it's very expensive at $559 but as a new OED battery would cost around $135.
It only weighs 7.8Lbs which saves a bit more than 23lbs.

Just bought an ATX20-HD off Amazon with 900 CCA weight = 5lbs. Non-Restart so safe with our ECU's on Amazon for $359.
But Anti-Gravity has a sale thru tomorrow at 25% off $399 which = $319. Anti-gravity wanted $18 for shipping to my NY area so that would've been around $338.00.
Okay..now for the bite. The Lithium charger was an additional $60. :)->).
Fellas....I will advise after a few weeks on charge vs recharge after around town stops .
