Good to know..Thanks...golden post!!!

No problem, the flex the front end experiences is what causes cracks at the tanks. Most over look the fact the factory radiator has the black bracing on either side and that helped maintain its rigidity to an extent.

I totally overlooked that myself.
I do remember having to sping the radiator a bit to get it to line the upper posts to the mounts. That should have told me something.

So the radiator was sprung into the posts and then flexing as well.

All the more reason to get the mishimoto and be done with it all.

The radiator mounts are mentioned on the same page as my previous link - have used them for years, well worth it: Cooling

But do these extend out a bit more than OEM mounts to fix the thicker 3 core radiator mount problem??

As I recall you have a terminator radiator or 2 core.

It isn’t they extend out farther rather that they allow more room for the flex. They are a good upgrade from even the stock ones as they are getting older now. If getting a three row is something you’d be dead set on then they are a helpful but even if you got a two row Mishimoto they are great to have still.

Thanks. I called Ron Davis to see what cost would be. Great customer service just a little to much i wanted to spend. After checking out a lot of different radiators and everyone's feed back. Look like I am going to spend the extra cash and get the Mishimoto. Anyone know best place to order one from?

Ron Davis makes amazing Radiators. I bought his Fox body, extreme performance, radiator, fan and wiring kit and fabbed it into my 03 Marauder. Works incredibly well. It was like night and day compared to the Mishimoto I had before.

For all of you with aftermarket rads, did you check the core measurements compared to stock? We've covered this in another thread before and I had access to several manufacturer's radiators and all of them were comparable to the standard GT not our Cobra OEM Radiators.

I covered a lot of it in the What did you do to your terminator today thread...see this post.

What I've found interesting is that over the past couple of years, all of the radiators, SVE, Mishimoto, etc, have gone back and forth on their descriptions in regards to being compatible with 03-04 Cobras. Matter of fact, the Mishimoto website states GT only. Same thing with the SVE.

I was lucky enough to get mine repaired

Compared to my stocker that failed the champion 3 row was larger by a significant amount. It was larger than a DNA motorsports rad of which the SVE is a rebranded version. Tanks are larger slightly compared to the core itself on the DNA/SVE version. While the champion is the same size as it’s tanks as well as being a much better build quality.
Having wanted to get a sponsorship from mishi I asked about that 2 row repeatedly and basically got it’s a cobra Rad with bigger tanks and their stabilizing fins. At the 40% discount for sponsorship members it was a good deal but for the same cost I got my champion and after seeing how their building of the radiators goes from the tour they gave me and a lifetime warranty I decided to get the champion.

Which Champion model number did you get? I saw nothing in their catalogs that was the same size as the factory rad and nothing physically that matched up, core wise.

can you provide details as to where and how much it cost to repair the stocker? in my research there were only a few specific shops that had the ability to braze aluminum in this way. thx

CC2139 is what I run. It was larger than the old SVE style I pulled out which had a core that was barely larger than OE. It’s 2 inch thick while the stock is a 1.5 two row.

Interesting. When I tried that Champion, the fan was no where near sitting on the rad. It was way off, so no way to seal.
