Can someone with access to Ford parts confirm something for me? An online search didn't help.

Are 7R33-3E525-BA and 7R3Z3691B for the same part?

In theory, they are both the power steering pump to reservoir hose on an 05-09 Mustang. But, the first number appears 12+ years old, so I can't find it. Also, not sure if one is for the 4.6 and one for the 4.0.

Thank you in advance.

The 7R3 Z3691 B part number is for a 2005-2009 GT w/ the 4.6L and is the latest part number. Its also listed under the Motorcraft part number PSH261.

Its funny that the revision code of BA for the original part number is superseded by the B rev code. So no clue.

The part number 7R3Z 3691 B comes up as the hose for the GT while the part number 8R3Z 3691 A comes up as the hose for the 4.0 Mustang. Cant find anything in regards to the old superceded part number however.

7R33-3E525-BA is an engineering number. Ford generally does not put the "service" part number on a part. That 7R33 prefix is the giveaway. Generally most of your Ford parts will have a prefix that ends in a Z or if originally a Lincoln/Mercury part a Y. The one with a Y that people here would be most familiar with would be F1VY-8255-A which is the t-stat o-ring used on a lot of engines.

If you look at the EBay auction, the seller is using the number on the tag of the part. If that's an engineering number, I guess I'm not going to be able to confirm it's the right part without trying it. They look identical.

Apparently, that's the only number the seller's got. He said they got a large crate of parts from a local Ford school.
