Here’s a first real look at the RAM Rebel TRX, and it looks ready to take on the Raptor.

RAM is expected to launch a full-on rival to the Ford F-150-based Raptor performance pickup in 2020 with the Rebel TRX. It's expected to get the Hellcat version of the 6.2L supercharged V8 found in models such as the Dodge Challenger Hellcat and the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, to name but two.

The 707hp figure is expected to remain (it could clearly be heard), and like other Hellcat-equipped models, the RAM Rebel TRX looks like it will get a revised body that's expected to be more muscular, based on the heavy camouflage on this prototype. Ride height and tires seem to be taken from the off-road-oriented Rebel variant of the 1500, suggesting the Rebel TRX will have off-road prowess to rival the Raptor, too.

Expect the Rebel TRX to go on sale sometime in 2020, either labeled as a ’20 or ’21 model. Prices should rival those of the Raptor's, which start at around $54,000.

Should be plenty capable, and the rear coil springs will offer some definite advantages. I bet it sounds mean as hell too.

The Raptor is still the O.G.

That's going to be some solid competition for the Raptor. Hellcat 707hp motor was expected.

It needs the Tyrannosaurus Rex for an emblem, to follow the trend. I haven’t been excited by trucks in quite some time, other than the diesels, but this thing sounds like it’ll be awesome.

YES PLEASE!!!
Can't wait to see what this beast looks like. FCA,.....you keep on doing it. But, please! For the love of God!!!,..........do not overprice it like you did with the Jeep Trackhawks! These trucks will sell like hotcakes if priced correctly!

Definitely toned down from the prototype. And you can bet it will be overpriced. Rear coils will have limitations too, but should be great on the street.
And of course, the monster V8 power and sound will be nice! Save your pennies boys!

If this thing is priced at $54k, it'll be a home run. My XLT FX4 with basically no options besides 2.7 and sport package had a msrp of right at $50k and that was a 2015!

This is going to be the ultimate brodozer, lol, sign me up! The Ram Rebels are sharp looking trucks, dodge has managed to not step on their own dick in that dept like GM|Chevrolet did....

I highly doubt this starts at 54k I fully expect to see a base price in the upper 60s and option out into the 80s
