2 weeks ago I was on business in North Carolina and got a brand new Jeep Wrangler Sport as a rental. I had it the entire week and really liked it. It was the 4 cylinder turbo model with the 8 speed auto. Super peppy and got 26mpg all week.

Last week when I got home and drove my outback a few days I noticed the CVT was starting to slip! Dealer quoted me 6500-7500 and used ones were going for about half that.

I decided to roll the dice and attempt to trade it in without the dealer noticing...and it worked...haha. Please dont hate! They still lowballed me on the trade and I was somewhat forced to take it or leave it considering what I knew!

Anyways I got a brand new 2020 Jeep Wrangler Sport. 4 cylinder turbo and apple play. Thing is a beast in that crappy weather here! Subaru was as well but nobody is calling me a lesbian anymore, so thats a plus! HAHA.

Gotta admit Jeep is finally stepping it up after years of junk in my opinion. It's still got tons of plastic but they are moving in the right direction.

I paid 29500 new for mine...they are anywhere from 5-7k off right now...lots of car for the money in my opinion.

Nice looking Jeep. Congratulations! Don't feel bad. When the lease on my '16 Ford Edge Sport was up, the tranny was slipping badly. It was still under warranty, but I had installed a custom tune midway through the lease, so I was a bit nervous that they'd (A) notice the slipping, and (B) notice that I had re-flashed the factory tune. Neither happened, so I breathed a big sigh of relief.

I like the Jeep bathed in black. You definitely won't be called a lesbian driving that one.

Congrats! I have had a few wranglers at this point and couldn't see myself without one. They are so much fun and we can take ours pretty much anywhere!

That's definitely the correct DD for your area. Nice pick up.

I could never drive some awful LPGA Subaru. Woof! Glad you came around.
