Time to pull the plug

Still no vin after 7 months.
No desire to receive a car halfway through the season. will be cancelling my order next week.
At this point I’ll probably wait until 2021. Not sure what’s going on with Ford lately.

Might be a blessing, hopefully issues of the first year cars will be fixed and you can get a better car for the wait.

I think VIN wise they are near the 1,300 mark currently. They are going to have to start cranking them out to get to 5,000 by the time the '21 is available to order. I ordered my '20 on the very first day, 7/01/19. I'd stick it out just a little longer if your dealer does indeed have an allocation.

The dealer hasn’t screwed up. I’ve talk to Ford Performance several times. Everything is legit, just no vin issued.
I don’t think most would want a 2020 model in the middle of the year when the 2021 will be closer to current. I’ve ordered several Fords from this dealer so I can’t fault them. It is what it is.
they have been pushing hard with their rep as well.

somethings wrong. I ordered my golden ticket on 12/03/19 and got the vin last Friday the 14th. Build date of April 20

I meant that are rolling off the line and not was being awarded. Are you saying 2207 have been produced?

I placed order right near 1st day too but no vin.

Waiting for a 21 is kinda silly because theres no guarantee youre getting an early one there either. And the car will be identical save for colors.

this is very interesting to say the least. It's almost seems like if you aren't someone important your order got put at the bottom of the list.
