Great event, and great video! Gotta love launch control. I have it on my Genesis G-70 but haven't tried it yet.

Oh, and LONG LIVE the V8! I just had to turn off the sound to simulate watching an electric Vette. :( :D

Pretty neat. Car is still ugly but pretty neat.

The C7 was kind of plain and got mixed reviews also when it was first released. But, once they started offering upgraded models (e.g. Grand Sport and Z06) and body kits/suspension/wheels became prevalent in the aftermarket, they got pretty badass.

I suspect the C8 will be the same.

I fully expect this. The base C7's are still ugly to me but the zo6 and zr1 both look pretty darn good.

I have to say I feel the same way. As much as this car is/will be badass on the road, I'm just really not a fan of the new styling.

Ever since that first leaked shot of the rear came out, I knew it was going to be tough to like the car. lol

Awesome car. Swap the gaudy chromed square exhaust tips for black or carbon fiber quad round ones and the back end is fixed. Add Z06 option and it may be close to perfect at a bargain price. I'm starting to get worried and I haven't even seen one yet.

It it just me or the fly buys look slow? I can hear the motor working but I don’t see the rate of speed.
